Ok, I lied

Yeah, I just don't have the time, or the energy in me to write reviews, at least not nowadays. In fact, I'm really forcing myself to write this right now. I'll just use blogs to give quick reviews now. Scarface is a good, underrated game that I'd give a 9. The graphics, missions, voice acting, areas, drug dealing, and vehicles are all good. On the other hand, the replay value isn't very good, and the map layout is strange. Vice City Stories is a great game that I'd give a 10 to. It's just as good as, if not better, than LCS. The new empire building mode is great. There's also a lot of really good new missions that are some of the best since the original Vice City. However, the first few missions are rather disappointing. There's also a lot of new great vehicles, characters, and side missions. All of this however is somewhat overshadowed by the disappointing glitches. Civil War: A Nation Divided is a decent game that'd I'd give a 6.3. The levels are nice looking a fun, but it's a short game with just about no replay value. Just Cause is a disappointing, yet still fun game that I'd give a 8.5 to. The playing area is HUGE. I cannot overestimate just how big the area is. However, a lot of the areas are similar to others. A large collection of vehicles, missions, and side missions give the game some good strongpoints that help it though. Rent first if you're really skeptical, if you're looking forward to it though, go buy it. Gangs of London is the sleeper game here. Got bad reviews, but in all honesty, this is the best PSP game I've played yet. Better than the GTAs for the PSP. I wasn't even a fan of the Getaway, though I loved this game. Lots of replay value, and a great pick up and play game. Get's a 10 all the way, a very great game. Gun: Showdown for the PSP is a decent game. I found the console versions to be a serious letdown with no replay value. The PSP version I liked better though. While it's taken out all the peds and has controls that take a while to get used to, it mantains about everything else from the console games which makes for a good game for a handheld. It's still short though. However, Showdown comes with multiplayer and quick play modes which give the game more replay value. I'd give it an 8.
That's it for now. I might do some more later.

Reviews

Well, it's been almost a whole year since I've written a review. I think I'm going to get back into writing reviews for games. I think I'll start off with a review of GTA: VCS, Hitman: Blood Money, or Driver: Parallel Lines. That's assuming I have enough free time to do so, which I might not have. Expect to see a review on one of the three listed games by next week.

Got a Dreamcast...

Got a Dreamcast today. Well, technically I got it Friday, but I had to return it because the controller port board was broken, typical of a Dreamcast. Anyways, I took it back today and got one that worked along with Blue Stinger. I got the Dreamcast with a controller and a VMU for $40 ($26 of it was paid for by four crappy Gameboy games I turned in that I bought from a kid for $2) along with a copy of Blue Stinger for a mere $3. So far, I'm not impressed by the Dreamcast. Sure, I've only played a mediocre game for it yet, but still, it's overrated. I mean, the games are good, but the system itself is just so unstable. Like I said, mine I had to return, and the only two friends that I know that have Dreamcasts have broken Dreamcasts. I bought a Dreamcast thinking that it might be my new favorite console, but now that I've spent some time with it, the N64 is still my favorite console.

NARC is the Worst Game Ever

NARC is seriously the worst game I have ever played. I got it yesterday and beat it tonight without cheating. This game sucks so bad. Read my review on it. I can't believe that the average user rating is 8.4! Hopefully Gamespot will give it a bad rating. It sucks that this game is so bad too; it looked awesome and I had high hopes for it. Oh well, I still have 25 to Life to wait for. Sigh.....

EB Games Phone Fun!

Today at the end of school I called the local EB Games with my friend's cell phone. The man picked up, and I said, "Hello. I'm trying to get my Xbox Live to work on my Gamecube so I can play San Andreas online, but it's not working." At first, he thought I was seriously an idiot and explained to me that that couldn't be done. I just acted like I was shocked that you couldn't do this. I even told him that I tried connecting the internet cord into one of my extra Gamecube controller slots, but it wasn't working. He then started acting sarcasticly saying, "Oh gee, I wonder why?". He then went on to say how it's impossible to do that and that I could even ask an electrician if it was possible to do this and he'd say the same thing. I then said, "Well, I'm sure you can do it, afterall, one of your employees told me to do it and I bought the supplies from them." He then started getting mad, and the bell rang, so I said, "Oh, nevermind, I got it working." and hung up.

Good times!
