you guys are making a fuss over nothing, DEFINITELY said it was optional, so you and your friends can share more of the experience, which is a great idea as only people you already have on facebook would be able to access your profile.

Also said you can still create your own avatars and emblems and remain anonymous as they understand this is an important part of gaming.

some of you need to go get your ears cleaned out, or just stop trying to create a fuss over nothing!!

Yeah it is optional. I for one like the option for using your Facebook account. Be able to quickly share Gaming with friends and being able to use your real name is sweet! now when I snipe someone they will see my real name and the name can become FEARED in the gaming world haha

This debate could go on forever, and will. It really comes down to what the Fans like and want. There will be PS fans and MS fans and N fans. Every console will have games that are awesome in their own right. It really comes down to which console gives you more of what you want. I am a Sony man, I like some of what XBOX does but at the end of the day I love my PS. For now both consoles are trying to put the consumer first and I feel that PS will always do that, and give the consumer CHOICE and although that is not THE reason why I choose Sony over MS it is the one most important things to me when it comes to gaming. If the DRM is future please do not Force things to gamers, like the 24hr check-in and always online crap. If sony did that and MS didn't id change to MS. But if all consoles do it then guess I will be forced into then and still stick with Sony lol. But I feel that won't happen and Sony will always give consumer a choice. At least I hope they will!
