I would guess it's not that easy to compare the full potential of either consoles, because Multi-Platforms are the only games you can compare fairly, and Imo. they've never been as graphically capable as Exclusives. Althought I only own a 360, I'd go with the majority of the PS3 screens looking better, just because they look cleaner overall :) Still, the differences are so small that, unless you have fantasies about Anti-Aliasing, you're probably not gonna buy a console for the sole reason that the rendered grass looks nicer...
I guess this feature is good for people who don't own both consoles and/or don't want to search around for ages just to read blocks of text about comparisons, but I think there's any need for a round four - there just isn't enough difference for most people to care. @Dawson82: If the "suxbox" is a bad as you make it, no wonder it's still selling well. I bet you even gave yourself that +1...
''but this isnt a console comparison board'' says gkclassof2005 and then: ''...on how ps3 has way more value...gaming and beyond gaming than 360..thats been proven long time ago'' Smooth... If you believe the Xbox 360 to be as puny as you say it is in your post(s), than do you care enough about it to post several times in a ''this isnt a console comparison board''... Also, I personnally find Halo 3 to be the best game, because of my preferences, so just because people like Halo, doesn;'t mean you have to prove them wrong.
2 things to mention before I dissapear, and play a very special game (?) "So far, all of the really irritating bad stuff about Halo 3 is not actually in the game... i.e. 8 year olds on XBL, Weird doings on forge, stuff like that." "Expanding on what Sephiroth mentioned about the amount of Halo 3 posts: If you're annoyed out how much attention halo 3 is getting, then why are you coming here, reading, and then posting?"
Halo 3 is a well put together game, and that's why I am enjoying it, and for all those people going on about how 'un'new some of the features are, just consider how the game would be if they weren't in there?
I guess that the reason this was done is because Halo has been an awesome trilogy no doubt, and GameSpot thought it'd be a good idea to look back at how the games graphics have improved.
@biggy887766: This comparison is about performance, and some pricing, not about how consoles don't have the internet, 'cause that's not why you buy a 'games' console...
@jscherdell88: Those ''fanboys'' are right. I'm not arguing about the existence of gaming PCs: The reason people prefer consoles, or move from PC (like me) is because when a new console comes out, to get the same performance from a PC, you need to spend up to 4x more. Even then, as technology moves on, you may need to upgrade an outdated PC just to run a game above 15fps or at all. On a console, even if it does look worse, you save money. P.S: You don't need an HDTV to play a modern console at it's best. You can plug it into a monitor, and still achieve 720p (1280x720).
