Ares is the representation of brutal war and bloodlust, incredibly violent and wrathful, and could be seen as - ironically - a coward when reading the Iliad. A far better choice is Mars, who has enough in common with Ares, but also represents the manly valour of battle, not necessarily the graphic brutality. Admittedly, my knowledge of the Roman pantheon is smaller, but I don't think Mars was as feared per se as Ares; rather, he was revered by the Romans - Campus Martius anyone? However, Ares wins with a better name. Sounds much cooler than Mars, imo.

Recon/Assualt

M24 or GOL with ACOG/spotting scope is so much fun, especially sitting right on the frontlines of Rush. F2000 with ACOG for Assualt.

GRAW2 is entirely outside, except for some warehouses and similar buildings. It is set in the near future, but all the weapons are currently produced or were prototypes for one of the US's numerous design contests. Its pretty fun for SP, but way too short, and the targetting system is sometimes aggravating, and makes it too easy.

I havn't played online, but when friends come over and play, its a blast. The MP features a class system, but any class can use any weapon.

It is a pretty good game, but I find R6V better, but each has their own opinions..
