DRM has been a problem since the conception of PC Gaming. We have put up with DRM that if it got a false positive, it could lead to your game to refuse to launch, disable certain in-game options/pieces, or even go out of the way by degrading performance of the game to a slide-show. I have been playing PC Games since I was five years old and all of my games have been legitimately purchased. So why should I be treated as a criminal when I am the customer paying their salary? Yes, I understand that it is their hard work, sweat and blood, and their lives they put into the games but they shouldn't bite the hand that feeds them. If they do, they may not have any food waiting for them in the future. No, I won't go down the road of piracy but I am willing to close my wallet if needed. I also hope they speak with Stardock in part 2 as they are going against the grain of industry by releasing all of their titles without DRM. It would be nice to see their opinion on this or even talk to Valve a bit more on non-invasive DRM such as their Steam client.

Ok, the performance per dollar isn't anything new people. Other reviewers have been doing it for years. Gamespot has finally just jumped on the bandwagon.

1. Battlefield 1942 because there is nothing cooler than driving around in a Sherman, noticing a plane coming in for the bombing run, and taking it out with the main gun. 2. WoW because nothing like leveling your Warrior to the applaud of friends. 3. Starcraft due to the fact that it is fricken starcraft. 4. Civ IV because we always wanted to take over the world in our minds and now you can do it. 5. And how can we forget the legend of all games? Half-Life. Just the words should make you drool.
