Oblivion is a better overall game.

Mass Effect has too many irksome technical glitches, wastes a lot of game space with planets that are frankly quite bland and uninteresting, and doesn't give you enough interesting conversations in which to apply abilities like charm/intimidate.

I think MGS4's character models are significantly better. As far as environments go, I think it's a wash.

I give the nod to MGS4, if only because, to my knowledge, MGS4 doesn't have texture-popping issues in EVERY SINGLE CUTSCENE.

I think the more salient question is whether X360/PS3 have any games with gameplay elements that weren't possible last generation.

I say the same thing now as I did then.

It's a bad review with an inaccurate score. But it's not as bad as the travesty of a review they wrote for Metroid Prime 3.

In terms of what has actually been released thus far, for me X360 and Wii are in close competition, and PS3 is a pretty distant third.

I suppose you think we should play a real CLASSIC like Lost Odyssey.
