Just a quick post to state that everything has been fixed a bit ago, however you weren't informed because of my activity related issues, things are resolving however.

Internet & PS3 no longer available.
by Cerebris on Comments
Recently my internet has been acting up again, and so I'm on a wi-fi laptop at the moment but even that is unsure to be a bypass of our problems, in any case I won't be on as much until this is fixed, but I will check in with the laptop.
In addition my PS3 has decided to die 3 hours ago and now emits giant grinding noises when it puts in any disc, won't play many movies or discs, and freezes for most games (it hates MGS4 now. So now it has to go into service and I have to rearrange my GameFLy rentals and lose one of my gaming systems and most likely not have it back for like 15 days (wohoo another wait for inFamous)
However, my Wii (which I never use) and my 360 are still working, so I'll be able to keep playing those and have thus updated my GameFly list with the removal of all PS3 games until my PS3 is fixed, so Prototype should come first.
Edit:
What confuses me of course is why it stopped working now, when it always worked for everything before... some of it still works, it can play a few movies and others it can't even load the title without waiting an hour... but Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm from GameFly worked for the first 12 hours and then today when I played it for another 3 it was fine... then it froze the game and ejected the disc and because of the slow save system and no quick save system I lost about 5 hours of play which was fine in my eyes ... but I tried to go through it again and it froze again... I could open Resistance 1 to see cinematics but the title screen loaded slow, perhaps from scanning the disc... whatever the cause was I keep trying to see if GameFLy somehow killed my console, but it shouldn't be possible since all it is, is a disc.
If anyone has any insight I'd welcome it.

Edit:
Internet has been fixed, PS3 yet to be shipped.
Edit 2:
It seems I can load everything now, so I contacted Sony (which has the BEST customer service ever, and nearly instant response times with no holding as well as informative and nice people not from africa) and they said I should still send it in, so I will. I learned there is a 100% chance my harddrive will be erased so I'll loze my Killzone 2 and Valkyria saved information (copy locked) but that doesn't bother me that much as I didn't like those two games that much.
Edit 3:
Somehow the internet technician created another problem and so I have to wait for another 24 hours for them to send someone, my PS3 is also still being shipped and is in no way fixed.
So... back where I started.
Edit 4:
INTERNET IS FIXED... apparently there were a lot of issues but they replaced the DVR, as well as my router, and outside lines, and a buried line should be coming through eventually, apparently my outlets are open ground and so I need to have an electrician ground them as they are creating problems, oh well.,
Dawn of War II - Master Review Redux
by Cerebris on Comments
I've decided that after playing Dawn of War II again, that my review was unfair, in the way that it really didn't tell anyone anything aside from don't get the game, but that's not right and it doesn't help anyone, so I'm planning an "Unbiased Review" master version to offset that issue, and thus I'll be creating a new one on top of my original (I see no reason to delete the other) within the week. because an Unbiased Review seriously needs to be made.
GameFly - What are your thoughts?
by Cerebris on Comments
So GameFly just got me to get into their service but unfortunately I didn't get the game that was featured on the email recruitment ad they sent me which happened to be inFamous, and despite it being at the top of the GameQ (the selection system for my account) it and Prototype are both at low availability, and while it went to medium yesterday it's back to low and I still didn't receive any notifications, so I'm not that important yet.
But so that I could get a game, I chose Naruto Ninja Storm because it was never at BlockBuster, due to the fact they didn't carry it, and I'll choose Armored Core 4: For Answer and Smash Bros Brawl (I Have never used Wii's online system and don't even know much about it) later on, but I'm hoping to get Overlord 2 when it comes out, though since I signed up for 1 game at a time (2 during the 14 day trial) I most likely will have to wait a bit... and so it annoys me I can't just get the game instantly at blockbuster, but if I had a 2 - 3 game package which I can't really afford right now, well that would probably be more reliable for me, as I'd send a game or two back as I played the next one... in any case to get off my tangent I wanted to ask the following:
Who here has experience with GameFly, and knows of any tricks or knowledge that can get me the most out of it, as well as any advice or what not? I've played most of the games out that are good, but if anyone also has any suggestions feel free to comment.

Edit:
I'm a big fan of editing things, so be aware that if I have something new to say, it won't get a new blog post unless it's large or warrants it, with that being said I wanted to give an update on the Mature & Intelligent Gamer Union and tell you guys that creation should take place tomorrow.
In addition for the Halo 3 review, it's unlikely it will be done very soon, because I just don't have that inspiration at the moment... I need to get on a roll to get that done so I'll either play through it again quickly for an as accurate review as possible or play a dif game and review that and then continue my reviews.
Enjoy your Father's Day weekend.

Edit 2:
Xbox Live is down for 24 hour maintenance and I'm sick of typing on forums for a bit so I'll be playing some Dawn of War 2 SP Campaign on my better computer with better graphics and speed, since I can't play PC Double Agent because the controls suck and it keeps crashing on Vista.
An Unbiased Review: Halo
by Cerebris on Comments
I've decided that since I recently reviewed Killzone and Killzone 2, it would be logical for me to rate that which they compete against so as to make sure people understand a comparison.
So... I'll be reviewing the entire Halo series in an unbias manner within the next week.
Hope you guys enjoy, and make sure to leave some comments and add me as a friend
June 13th, 09 / 1:25 P.M. EST - Halo: Combat Evolved successfully reviewed.
June 14th, 09 / 11:17 A.M. EST - Halo 2: successfully reviewed.
Edit - June 16th, 09 / 4:49 P.M EST.
Now that I'm back from my suspension... which I have no doubt won't be the last one I receive because of my... confrontational attitude towards immaturity or at least what I deem immature, I should be able to finish up the reviews for Halo with the final in the series known as Halo 3.
Again I have to plead to you guys that if you read my reviews under contributions or like the blog please rate it positively or negatively if you feel it deserves it and then tell me why, so that others can see it, because doing nothing just bumps it down.
I will most likely when I have time or if I have no other reviews to write, be editing all previous reviews and making them in the format of the new review structure.
Thanks, and have a great Fathers Day Week.

Low on Trackers and Friends :(
by Cerebris on Comments
I just noticed that despite me being here for 5 years, I have only 5 - 6 people tracking me, and no real friends that know anything about me... I want to rectify this, so if anyone has any suggestions on how to make more friends, or knows people I should talk to, it'd be nice if you could help me out.
In addition, I'll be updating this blog and my review segment known as "Unbiased Reviews" much more often, especially as I have a lot more time on my hands, and finally I should hopefully improve in my style for writing as time goes on.
Thanks and best of luck.
P.S.
Be sure to send me a message at Dreadnought 017 on Xbox Live, or add me as friend at Vaeris on Playstation network.
An Unbiased Review: Killzone 2
by Cerebris on Comments
I just finished up the next in the 'Unbiased Review' series, and I hope those that look at it will make a better decision when choosing games for story and campaign.
I've also if you check out the recent Killzone 2 review I just made - created a template and guideline on which I will rate - which will of course be upgraded over time, and any suggestions anyone has would be appreciated.
Thanks, and I hope you guys have a great week.
My Reviews
by Cerebris on Comments
Each time I play a game I will not make a review, no instead I make reviews only on if while playing that game I feel something there is so great or so awful that it warrants an entire game review, so that people will make better judgements on the games they play and not suddenly be unprepared for things simply by listening to hearsay when they choose which games to play.
I've made several reviews for some popular games and my reviews are generally a mixed result because I focus on only one thing, the story and its subsequent campaign and singleplayer aspects, as such multiplayer, and graphics and gameplay take little if any part of the score at all, as people like me and I know they exist, play games for fun, story, and imagination... not for repetition, communication with immature idiots, or to die every other second because of poor gameplay templates.
As such I will be posting reviews more often and possibly depending on how they are received - developing a full blog (it will start here) to further bring emphasis and observation to my "Unbiased Reviews" which are in all manners intended from a gamers point of view, not in a manner attempting to get support from companies or to get people to buy them.
I place one disclaimer and warning first:
I stand by what I state, and my statements and opinions will vary greatly from the norm, else I wouldn't even bother reviewing it.
Sincerely,
- Cere.
