They aren't similar at all.

Aside from the weapons the gameplay is much different in each. You should read reviews, but the biggest difference I notice is the pace of the game. Halo 3 is a much faster paced game IMO.

lol yeah i was just about to say that. the one thing oblivion does do good in is looks. i think the gfx have aged tremendously.

hopefully nothing that i have to upgrade for. i don't think i would pay.

i'm going to wait until i hear some reviews on this game because as much i loved starcraft this just looks like starcraft with some better graphics.

NO ,the NES and SNES as well as some SEGA GENISES games were still far to arcadish. The style of games we know today was started by the PC in the late 90's

Just because it saved the industry does not mean it was the "golden age".
