@ps2fatboy Soo your saying that xbox live gold is free? Also you don't have to buy a year subscription to get free stuff,(you can buy 3mnths at 17.00) but considering A year of ps+ is 49.99 and right now you get over a $100 worth of free games you have to admit MS tried to rip off Sony and is being incredibly cheap about it.Also besides the twelve free games a month ps+ members get huge discounts.

Wow they really picked the wrong guy to review this.He clearly sucks at fighting games and does'nt want to get better(they have wiki's that explain frame data to you and it's a universal fighting game mechanic). It does'nt cater specifically to the hard core but infact does a wonderful job of catering to both. As for the Story it's clear that he isn't much of a comic book fan either. anyway if your a fan of DC comics and fighting games pick it up.But Maxwell don't knock it for what it is a Fighting game that does'nt play itself for you.

It's not that always online is bad in in of itself. It's the fact that it is required to use your console. Nobody is ready to drop 3-5 hundred dollars for a console that essentially bricks if the internet goes down. Always online should be a background function that provides added bennifits to the consumer. Requireing it takes control away from the user. Diablo 3 and sim city are examples of this pay sixty dollars for a game you can't play if your/blizzards severs go down it's a rip off and none of these companies would ever do this if they had to shell out the money.

58 percent of parents belive games contribute to violence in teenagers?Yet everytime I go into gamestop I see parents buying grand theft auto for thier eight year old. And I am sure the fact that the news media makes Martyrs out of these lunatics has no effect on it.How come no one in law enforcement ever blames the parents and the total lack of discipline these kids have(seriously his mom did'nt think it strange that he had all these names on his wall and wanted to buy a gun. I would'nt worry too much though this is the same thing they did in the eighties when they were blaming Heavymetal for teen suicide.

If i said it once I said it a million times while there has been no concrete evidence that supports violent video games leading to violent behavior, this article does point out the real problem in the United States, and that is the one group who absolutly refuses to share any blame or change anything and that is the parents of these children. Parents in the U.S. (i am a U.S. citizen and live in MA)would rather Ban something for everyone so they don't have to tell thier children no,they would rather the government do thier jobs for them. The case in point if the arcade machine was violent and violent video games are bad for children then tell your children they can't play it. After you say that the statement that I have always heard was, I am too busy to monitor him, I should'nt have too, All his friends parents let him I don't want him to hate me. Amazingly every politician has crucified violent video games (even though they are clearly labeled for 17 and up with detailed descriptions of the content inside) not one politician asked why are kids playing these games for hours on end in the first place.

I am 33 and while i did play violent video games(Mortal Kombat and Doom being 2 of my favorites)and even saw Nightmare on elm st. My parents would not buy them for me and wouldn't let me watch them in the house until i was eighteen and when i asked why they said because they did not approve of the violence and senseless killing so when i went over my friends house i knew they were bad (then again my parents also taught me the diffrence between "real life" and "make belive") also i was'nt allowed aany videogames on school nights and my parents grounded me when I broke the rules. My major outrage is that the media blames violent movies and violent video games and says OH our kids are seeing the advertisements and they want them, does'nt mean you have to buy it for them. Both movies and games are already regulated quite strictly because of the violence, and while I think video games could adopt the same ratings system as movies and maybe retailers could separate movies and games by rating with the rating posted on the end of the isle all the regulation in the world is useless if parents refuse to follow them. A prime example of this is over the holiday a kid came into a Gamestop who had to be eight years old and wanted to purchase Grand Theft Auto the store associate refused to sell it to him because he was too young and low and behold 10 mins later his mother came into the store screaming at the associate and demanded to know why he could'nt buy it after the store associate explained the content (he described in detail the picking up of hookers and then shooting them in the face to take the money back)she went and bought it for him anyway, after she left I talked to the associate and he informed me it happens all te time so i'll say it again just because Parents do not want to say no to thier kids does'nt mean I should'nt be able to play games and I gaurantee that when I have kids they will not play those games no matter how much they beg because while I would love for them to like me it is my responsibility to raise the and discipline them not the governments.
