Cant be done sorry, most laptop monitors dont accept external input. You guessed it, that port is only for output. Stick with your TV.

Of course Blu-ray's going to have an impact on piracy.

First off is the immense size of the file, even if you strip down padding and compress it, the ISO would be about 5-10gb in the least. That's a large chunk of your hard-drive taken up by just an ISO, not to mention a large portion of bandwith. Add in a few hundred dollars for a bluray burner and another ten for each disk (not to mention if someone does manage to make a modchip that could be a few hundred too), and even if a isoloader/ custom firmware is developed, you void your warranty and open up a chance for the ps3 to brick.

Games have gotten so large to the point where it's just not cost effective, not to mention the ethical and legal implications for pirating games on the ps3. besides, awesome games deserve to be bought so that gamers can support the devs, and they can continue development on sequels and new IP's.

Well, i'd have to go with Jeanne'D arc.

Final Fantasy tactics is a great game, but the combat feels kinda slow and the interface, outdated. That being said, it was fantastic when i played it on ps1, and it's definetly a step up from the original including 3d CG cutscenes and iirc a new class or two. Jeanne D'arc in comparison has more eyecandy and production values (It being 3d, having full anime cutscenes and near full voice acting) as well as a charming and wacky japanese twist on the story of jeanne D'arc, which portrays the english king as a demon posessed child and jeanne an co having to defeat him using magical bracelets that allow them to transform.

Also (A factor i find important in games) JDA has a robust customisation system. While characters are stuck in their set classes, you can swap out abilities to make them into hybrids, e.g. giving them healing spells, swapping out weapon abilities to better suit the map you play.

Pata pata pata pwn

One of the best games i've played on psp. I'd say the only problem is the lack of help in doing 'miracle' moves (the key combo is x.xx.xx) where it'll throw your rythym off balance untill you get used to it. Other than that, it's cute, it's original, and above all, it's fun! =D

I'd say....not really.Super paper mario is a bit too shallow to be a proper rpg, and a bit too slow to be a proper platformer. It's a good game, but not worth the full price. Save up for SSBB instead.

Heya, just wondering, i'be lately been playing Diablo 2, baldurs gate and even wc3 (Final Fantasy mod :P) in a LAN with my brother. However, checking up on more recent lan RPG's i've noticed alot of them need 2 cd keys, e.g. hellgate london :(. I just think it's rediculous having to pick up two copies of the same game if ones only going to take advantage of their own home network.

On that note, would anyone know any good 2 player co-op games i might be able to pick up from EB, or even any freeware/game mods that support co-op play (and more importantly only one copy)?

Thanks in advance!

Bricking is a term taken from the PSP firmware updates where tampering with the power during update, or even installing one of the earlier custom firmwares, would kill the psp, making it unuseable with the same function of a brick (same shape, and doesnt do much)

And from what i can gather, turning your power of from the mains can cause a similar destruction upon the ps3

Just wait till the big names come out (mainly MGS4 and FFXIII). I'm sure once sony gets their finance rolling along they'll start to churn out more games and support more dev payrolls. Other than that, i just hate the way that they've taken the ford model T way ps3 colour scheme. I wouldnt mind a white ps3. Too bad they've only got it in japan.

For those that dont understand, i bring you Henry Ford:"he can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black"
