Wii is doing really well as of now with Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, and Wii Party. In the next few weeks, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Sonic Colors, Epic Mickey, and Goldeneye will be seeing a lot of attention as well. Congratulations, Nintendo, you are finally kicking butt again. A sane gamer would be content with this, but I am not quite there. There are still some things that I want to see on the Wii before I will consider it great.
F-Zero: Due to the extreme speed, great controls, and great soundtrack, the series has won a permanent spot in my heart. If Nintendo would make an F-Zero for Wii, it would be fantastic, given a few additions. An improved customization system from GX with detailed parts that allow one to create a vehicle in the interest of their own style, great motion controls, and online play would make this the best Racer of the generation.
Custom Robo: This series is especially fun and unique. With an overworld system similar to Pokemon and addictive gameplay in battles you can imagine why I need this for the Wii. No major overhauls are necessary, just give the detailed graphics and gameplay of Battle Revolution the freedom that Arena had.
Kirby: "What the heck are you talking about?? Epic Yarn is coming out NEXT WEEK!!" Although Epic Yarn looks insanely fun and the Kirby name, it lacks the soul of a Kirby game. To date, the best Kirby game was Kirby Superstar for the SNES, but the problem was that it was way too short. Crystal Shards was fun and unique, but it lacked the fun co-op. Find a mix between the two, and Nintendo will have a gem.
That's about it for my demands. Am I being unreasonable? Of course, but if Nintendo simply continued with some of their awesome series, gamers who enjoyed some great works from the last generation would be able to experience that same euphoria all over again.
