Death, is only the beggining

I've played a bit of it after buying it today and I must say it's better than the reviews state but it isn't the greatest. It is what it is, a GOOD first try for the game on the PSP. I like the game and look foward to a sequel. I'll review it fully in under a week.

Doomed

It's no RE4, but Doom definately brings a lot to the table. I'm not far enough to make any big judgements, but I have jumped out of my seat many times already. Tip: Conserve your ammo.

Tell the God of War I am his no longer!

I've been trading in games that I don't think are great and picking up games that got good rankings. I've picked up God of War, Doom 3, Brohers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 and Jade Empire. To be played in that order. I have already started God of War and I'm pretty far, the game is truely a work of art. The graphics, the battles, the bosses....it's just all so amazing. I still think game of the year so far is RE4, however I can't say I'd be upset if GoW somehow snagged it.

My foot taste good!

My last entry I rambled on about how I would never get a psp. Now i'm playing my psp religously while my DS collects dust. I apologize to Sony for being wrong and welcome them to the handheld market.

Touching is VERY good

Not doing much in the world of console gaming lately, I'm beefing up my DS. Bought new stylus, cool bag that holds the DS and games, and some new games. I really love my DS and probably won't get a PSP. Not because i'm a Nintendo fanboy, simply because I love their titles (Mario, Wario, Pokemon, Metroid, Zelda, Kirby, Yoshi etc) . I would only get Advent Children and GTA on the PSP, not worth the money.

The Prince comes through

Well despite being sick I have completed both endings of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. And I must say...wow. Although I still say it wasn't as good as the first it was definately a great game. I cannot wait till POP3. Overall the story has just blown my mind. I mean, wow. 9.0!

The Metroid Prince

Yes, i'm aware I update like every hour on my gaming life, but hey it's the only one I have. Just felt like stating that I notticed Prince of Persia: Warrior Within involves quite a bit of backtracking. Whenever I make a return visit to an area I remember my Metroid Prime days. I dont know if thats good or bad. If the game continues this way I may decide to split my time between two games, Tales of Symphonia looks yummy.

The Dahaka isn't the only thing on The Princes' tail, dissapointment is too.

Played a little more of The Prince of Persia Warrior Within, (up to chapter 8 out of 23) and I must say it is a good game BUT when you play a sequel that alone doesn't matter because you can't help but compare it to its original. Thats where Prince of Persia Warrior Within falls short. I know many people would disagree with me on this bu t I liked the old fighting system. There's nothing wrong about the free combo system in this game, however I miss having to kill the creatures by sucking them into the dagger of time. The character models during gameplay seem almost sloppy, and unfinished. All except the Dahaka. My heart skips a beat whenever that creature gives chase to The Prince. Like I said, good game but it doesn't live up to its predecessor. Yet.
