Just posting a blog that I can tag to get a better emblem and such.

I am thinking that the current generation is going to be a bumpy ride.

Sony, Sony, Sony... How many different version of the PS3 are there? Why are there so many different PS3s on the market? Why not make one? Here is an idea Sony! Make a PS3 with a 100+ gig HDD, keep the Emotion Engine in there, and put all of the options in there. Brilliant!

Ripping off the Wii (the controller) and the 360 (different models) is not smart. Also, throw away the Sixaxis controller and bring back the DualShock. Get you act together and figure out what you are doing. Also, if you redesign the PSP, why not add the 2 nub? Why isnt it there in the first place? I love the PS2 and everything, but all the choices that Sony is making with the PS3 just makes me sick.

Attention Microsoft! The X-Box 360 is just horrible in my book. I have heard and read so many complaints about the system giving the Red Ring of Death that it makes me want to avoid it like it has a case of AIDS. Plus, why does the 360 have multiple SKUs? Just like the PS3, I have lost count on how many there are. The stripped down version the the 360 was a horrible idea and then releasing one that has all the stuff is just mind boggling. If the Elite was released as the original X-Box 360, I am sure many people would have been happier. I mean Microsoft gave you two options in the beginning. The updated X-box or an actual 360. Which would you choose? Also, the backwards compatibility of the X-Box 360 is just pure crap. If I want to play SSX3 on the X-Box 360, I may have to download the update to play it. Then I would have to start all over again since you can't transfer your X-Box saves to your X-Box 360.

Wanna touch my WII? Well you could if you could find them anywhere. Everywhere I go that would sell a Wii is sold out all the time. Its been a year now and you still can't find them anywhere. I have never seen one yet, so I don't even know what the box looks like. Other than that, I have no complaints against the Wii. If only they would release some more systems.

All in all, two of the three companies are pissing me off to the point where I don't want a "next" generation system. If I had to choose, it would be the Wii since it is cheap and Nintendo seems to be somewhat aware of what they are doing.

Maybe I am getting excited, but Rock Band and Guitar Hero III make me wet my pants. Literally. Rock band my make me want to buy a PS3. I would if my car wasn't a piece of crap. But all this thinking of music is making me want to start my own band. I mean I play guitar and I know a few people who play bass and guitar and other instruments. Maybe I will start one soon. I already have a bunch of ideas for band names, songs and riffs all written down in a special notebook/tab book.

When and if my band forms, we will rock your socks off!




As an afterthought... Maybe all of these rock games coming out will help elevate rock into the music world where it once reigned. Get rid of that crap Rap and R&B bull$hit.
