Shoot the common infected in the head to kill them! Curious that the mode picture creates a rather misleading perception. Special infected can be killed no matter where you shot them! Why lie to us Valve? Why?

Headshots are hard to pull of using handguns, so sticking to melee weapons (epspecially chainsaws) isadvisable. Granade Launchers will makelife easier as they blow undead away with little effort.

I can't get over why the headshot rule doesn't apply to special infected as advertised? This would make it more challenging! Visualize attempting to shot the Tank's head!

Valve could of done more with this mode. Disappointing!!

Take the finale and make a half assed game mode. My expectation areshattered into a million pieces.

The objective?A race to the escape vehicle. Expect to see a ton of friendly fire. It should of been a versus mode: one survivor with three AI, and the rest playing asspecial infected.

Would my idea be more entertaining?

I'm getting a single player survival mode vibe from this title!

I must stay in the "Room" possibly surrounded by invisible walls to block my escape. A brief amount of time is all I have to prepare against the onslaught. All the Items I will need are in this tight space. I hope the Boomer doesn't send them flying! Tanks are disabled.

Getting incapacitated won't mean game over (Like Last Man Standing) and the restricted space requires cautious item use. Each survival map will have a single location for which to fight.

My thoughts. . . This will be more interesting then normal Survival mode. Players tend to move all items in one place. This mode acts as shortcut todescent survival gameplay. This time I'm alone, no bots or others to blame! What fun!

Sick and tired of boring matches kicking the other team's ass without breaking a sweat? This versus match caused one of our team mates to lose his sanity! Damn those evil members of Gamebattles. . .

Reflections

It thankfully wasn't a complete whitewash. We came very close to winning on several occasions. They needed to be alert. It would of been humiliating if my Tank slaying skills weren't up to scratch, not to mention the accomplished hunter pouncing. Pity our adversaries were moremore opportunistic.

Best thing I took away from that match was the amazing things you can do with the special infected.My favourate part was covering theTank and Spitter in Boomer bile, and while they thought itwas safe hiding behind a truck, I looked under and loaded him with shotgun shells!

Lowlights

Mickus and Oven lost connection towards the end of the game. Still we can't win them all can we? Maybe next time!
