Dearest Journal,

Other than a gameboy pocket, I own no other consoles. However, this doesn't stop me from being a Nintendo fan.

Why am I a Nintendo fan in the first place?? I'm not very sure myself, perhaps it was those old gameboy Mario games I've played when I was little. Seriously, they were fun games- simple and addictive and black and white.

I really want to get myself a Nintendo home console... but you know, money matters. I do not even have the money to buy the cheapest of current-gen consoles. Sigh. I'm missing out alot.

Most of my friends do not own consoles; and for those who do- it was the PS2s that they own. Well, it's no big surprise, after all, the gamecube has never been popular in Singapore. Sure, the gamecube launch a few years ago saw more than a hundred people queneing up to buy the cube. But the number of people who own a gamecube in Singapore NOW probably still stays at 100+.

Some of my friends think that PS2 has better graphical capabilities than gamecube. What a laugh.

You know something? Many of my friends have heard of Legend of Zelda. OH C'mon, who hasn't? The problem here, however, isn't about LoZ's popularity.... it's about Zelda. Try asking them,

"Who is Zelda?"

To which they'll probably reply,

"Why, it's the main character of course! That boy with that funny cap."

They have no idea who Zelda is!!!
