Wow, what? Babies come from a mothers "stomic" and Master Chief isn't deep, he rarely talks and there is barely any backstory within the game about him. But if you take the time to read the books it does go a little bit deeper, but not the games.

But he's so cool and mysterious! And you never get to see his face in the games! **** yeah! :)

I agree Halo improved and in certain ways(intuative vehicle controls, epic presentation) innovated, but your view on a world without halo is purely speculative. Just think, a world without Half-Life or Goldeneye 64 could have lead to a world where halo might've sucked, or(gasp) never existed.:shock:

But Halo is bigger. And more important. And funnier. I have played Half-Life, and it was great. 

If Halo never existed there wouldn't be an Xbox.
