Oblivion, thats unless you like screaming at a screen for the 50th time as you get taken out by some gump that is only beating you because he has host advantage. GOW - A beautiful game ruined by lag.
Get Saints Row. I have had both games, clocked 100% and by far SR was the more enjoyable. The single player is fun and the online(if you have good players on your team) was brilliant. Bling my ride was without a doubt one of the best multiplayer modes I have played in a long time. I cant wait for SR2. GRAW2 is just boring, it should be called GRAW 1.5 as it does not add that much to the 1st one.
My GT is Chris Eyebrows and I get, Have you got big bushy eyebrows? or do you have a monobrow? alot but thats cool. One of my good online mates is WhiteTrashMike and he does get a ribbing but all in gest. Thats because he really is Trash :-)
Most people moved onto a new game within a week. It took me 3 days to complete the game 100% and I was bored with it by the 3rd level. All the levels look the same, enemies could not kill you so it doesn't matter how big or hard they were because you would just come back to life and shoot, die, ressurect, shoot, die, ressurect. BORING
Oh My GOD. Who actually thinks that this game is any good?? You are so mistaken. The game was the biggest let down of the year! It promised so much and delivered a bit fat pile of cr@p. THe graphics were dire, the connectivity issues online were dire, the fact you could not die on the single player game was REALLY DIRE. The only half decent thing in that game was the warp holes but they were to few and far between. Go and get Shadowrun, its worth the 10min wait to get into the game.
I have had mine since launch day and have got over 50K. Now I have played a few of the easy games on the console (King Kong, Madden and Basketball) but I also have things like PDZ, Saints Row and others 100% clocked. I am a bit of a gamerscore whore
I know all that but if achievements (and I love getting achievements) are on a ranked team game then I should be able to play with my mates. To stop boosting they could have a lobby like Saints Row. Me and my friends would want to play ranked games because the achievments are collected by playing ranked games so we all joined into a lobby and then would play a random team. It was impossible to get two teams of friends to boost the game on ranked unless you was really lucky and got placed in the same game. Of course you should not be able to start a game for single deathmatch with friends in your lobby.
Now this issue REALLY gets me hacked off. Xbox live is aimed at us gamers to play anyone anytime anywhere and we have to pay for it. I don't mind paying for a gold service but I expect to be able to play a game with my mates in a ranked online game. The last game that did this was Saints Row. I was expecting GOW to let you play but no, you had to hunt for your friend to play a Ranked TEAM game and sometimes you could not get in at all. WHY!!!
I dont want to spend £50 on a game and then have to play ranked games with people that I do not know. A good team comes from playing with each other on numerous games and finding what your teammate can or can not do and working around that. You can not play well with a moron that has accidently pressed rank game and who has never played the game bvefore.
I am 28 yrs old and so I was playing Goldeneye when it came out for the 1st time and it was the original FPS. I remember being blown away buy EVERYTHING in that game, the graphics, gameplay butthe N64 pad DEFINATLEY helped make the game. I still remeber using that mushy to look around the room for the 1st time and using the other to run up and down a corridor, ahhh memories, but it wasn't justthe gameplay, it had the added bonus of trying to unlock all the secrets in the game. Completeing Facility in under 3.15 ifI remember rightly was HARD!!!
But when Perfect Dark came along it just blew Goldeneye out of the water. The 4 player multi trying to complete all the co-op and just shooting my mates was amazing. The graphics were amazing, no slow down and just the fun of playing it. I would love Rare to bring Perfect Dark out as a budget title. They could spruce up the graphics a little, incorporate 16 player multi and bung that out for £20. I know I would buy it.
Very good game graphically but limited in Gameplay, modes and the fact you could not play a ranked game with friends and host lag advantage was the nail in the coffin for me.
