This has happened to me recently. All you have to do is unplug the power supply from both the Wii and the wall socket for 2-3 mintues. Plug them back in, and your Wii should work fine. You don't have to unplug everything on the console, just the power supply.

I got this info from Nintendo.com: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/ts/power.jsp

I'm playing through it now for the first time, and it's great! I highly recommend it.

The best one is a Model 1 Genesis that has "High Definition Graphics" written around the cartridge port. Those have the best sound. Later Model 1's that don't have that written on it and model 2's have noticably worse/distorted sound. Check this video for a demonstration.

I'd avoid the Model 3 (the smallest one) as it does not support the 32X or Sega CD units. It also does not work with some Genesis carts like Virtua Racing.

Hope this helps.

Pac-Man was one of the first video games I ever played, and I still play it often. Happy B-day, Pac-Man!

The only Ridge Racer I enjoyed was the first one. That game that clicks with me, the rest don't.

I'd buy a 32X because Virtua Racing Deluxe >>> entire VB library. :P 3D gaming also make my eyes and head hurt. :(

I have a Wii Remote Plus (Motion Plus built into the remote), and I probably get around 25-30 hours (3 weeks) with standard Duracell AA batteries. That's with the rumble and speaker turned off, though. Haven't noticed any difference when playing Motion Plus games versus standard Wii games.

I will not pay $350 for any game console. $250 would be max for me. Anyway, I'm currently undecided until I see what the games are, and what the "hook" will be.

While 1080p would be ideal, I have a 720p HDTV, so I'd be happy with that resolution. Anything lower would be ridiculaus for a system released in 2012, IMO.
