So my budget is £800 - I could stretch it if needed but i dont really want to go above that. I'm looking to build my first gaming PC and need help picking compatible components - here's some of the games I will be picking up in the near future: Battlefield 3 (would like to play on high settings), Fifa 12, The Old Republic

I think once i have compatible parts i'll be able to follow the guide on these forums - can anyone advise me a list of compatible parts please that would be able to run the games above smoothly please? :-)

yeah I think i'll just wait for the full specs for BF3 to be released and then just go to a small PC shop I know and say "build this please!" lol

i'd probably be willing to go up to £1000 - but less is better obviously. Oh and i live in Birmingham - UK

So i'm primarily an Xbox gamer, and with the release of BF3 imminent i'm thinking of buying a gaming pc for the full 64 player experience. I wouldn't be able to build my own PC just yet so does anyone have any good recommendations of PC's I can buy online? I'd like to run BF3 on max settings if poss.

Also - anyone else like me recently made the jump? how are you finding it? a few games i'll be getting this year are BF3 and Skyrim (should be no problem on PC there hehe) but also Fifa 12 and I hear Fifa's get a bad deal on PC :/

i get the above error message whenever i try to install games i've downloaded from PSN onto my PSP
