Well, that kind of mentality excludes you from most of the best options I was going to offer. But if you just have to buy new from a retailer, I would go with a sonystyle store (assuming you're of the age and ability, you could apply for a Sonytstyle credit card, which would take $100 off the price of a PS3). Or, if you have a game crazy near you, most of them will give you free monthly rentals for a year with the purchase of a gaming console.

Games with huge peripherals like GH- mainly cause its hard to carry them out the shop, and then i have to sit on the bus with GH on my lap...qazwsxedcrfvtbg

i would be more embarass about riding a bus than buy a game. ;)

I would be embarassed if I were ignorant enough to talk/think like this. Also, I'd probably be slightly ashamed to have a name that looked like someone with epilepsy had created it.

Nah, haven't been for a while. Although I did listen to Minor Threat growing up, and was straight-edge as a naive little youngster.

Uh, yeah, he's a Mormon. And after seeing the unending coverage of the Texas polygomist ranch, and how easily Americans can be manipulated by the media (Reverend Wright), I doubt that'll be happening. The thing that bothers me most is the fact that a lot of people don't even bother educating themselves on the candidates and what they stand for. You wouldn't believe how many people I've talked to who think Obama is some dangerous secret Muslim.

I highly doubt Microsoft would go Blu-Ray for their games. It would be a terrible move on their part, alienating the 11million (or however many) people who own normal xbox 360's, losing them tons of money on possible game sales. but then again, they are microsoft, so i dont know.yakk_3

Well, if buyers' history is any indication, they could make the switch to using blu-ray as their main drive, and all of the previous owners could just wait for their current console to crap out, and they would rebuy.

So much ignorance.... I would suggest going with what you know and like (which seems to be California), and you can always travel around pretty easily to see what else the US has to offer. Of course everyone is going to recommend going to where they're from, because nationalism and pride in where we come from is inherent in this country. Let me tell you, I've been to almost half the states in the US, and they all have something unique and special about them. Tell your mother that the depiction of America that most of the world gets is skewed and unfair. We're not all fat, stupid, criminals who shoot each other. In fact, the only time I've had a serious crime problem, ironically, was when in Spain, and I was only there for a week.

That would be incorrect.
