Hello to everyone on Gamepsot, blog is on the page early because of I'm going to centre parcs tommorow so I will do it now, so here is the blog for thursday 14th January 2010.
First off we will talk about the recent public beta for Zipper interactive's MAG. This game looked good but it is much better then I expected, but this is not a run and gun situation like COD multiplayer, you have to take your time and follow orders that you have been given the game mode that we have been played so far has been sabotage where one team is attacking and the other is defending the objectives. You can customized different characters like COD with different guns, equipment and even your apperance with armour and helmets. So while I have not gone into depth ut I think thatthe MAG beta was really good and I hope that the game does really well at the end of the month.
Next order of business is something I finally got my hands on was the DLC for Call of duty World at war, I purcahsed the map pack bundle for £20 and I think that it is a great package, the multiplayer maps are really good because they give more replay value for WAW's mutiplayer but with everyone on Modern Warfare 2 not many people are playing WAW's multiplayer but the maps are still fun it split screen. But the main fun is with the 3 nazi zombie maps, unless all my mates are playing MW2 then I will be playing the zombie maps, Zombie verruckt was really good, Shi no humu made it better and it introduced a cast of humerous characters but the best is obviusly Der riese because it makes things better with all the weapons and the upgradeable tools and teleporters. So overall the map packs get a 9/10 for having awsome multiplayer maps and zombie maps but honestly the poce is a bit steep now and the release is a bit off with Modern warfare 2 out and everybody is on it but still a great purchase.
But now its time for the big moment the Game of the year 2009 go to the previous blog for the nominees, it was a tough decision between Call of duty Modern warfare 2 and Uncharted 2 among thevies but overall I have my choice; the 2009 game of the year award goes to .......................both, the decision was impossible, it will end up to a coin flip or asking other people but Modern warfare 2 and Uncharted 2 can both share the Game of the year award for 2009, Modern warfare 2 has one the most addictive multiplayer and co-op experiences ever while Uncharted 2 has the best graphics and single player experience, it ends up having a 50:50 share of the award so Uncharted 2 and Call of duty Modern warfare 2 share the game of the year award.
