[QUOTE="michaelareb0001"]Alot of people here have missed the point.
No console can run Crysis as it is on the PC. Not because of power, but because the game is written with DX10 for hardware not contained in either the 360 or the PS3.
Crytech, will not spend the time to convert the game from PC to console. Ubisoft will most likely put another team on porting it. The end result will be a game that may look and play like Crysis but will be different none the less. I'm sure that the 360 and the PS3 could handle the physics and the geometry, but to optimize the code for each system would take a long time and alot of money.
With Far Cry, the xbox and 360 got a dumbed down port of the PC game, not because the hardware couldn't run it, but because the game needed to get out on the shelves and it needed to cost Ubisoft a reasonable amount of money.
And for the guy with the Haze trailer and the screenshots, renders and CGI movies mean nothing. The last year should have proven that, especially for the people of this particular forum. Besides, I'm sure there will be prettier games than Crysis with in a year of it's release, for both consoles, and the PC.

Convert? what the game has two modes DirectX 9 and DirectX 10. If this game ever hits a console it would be in DirectX9 form (Át E3 the game was running a DX9 card emulating Dx10)
or OpenGL if crytek cares to port it.
