@Slash_out It appeals more to the football fan. This game takes you in to the depth of actually running and managing a football club. Like; contract negotiations, buying / selling a player, developing the youth players, all that type of thing. But at the same time it doesn't play like Fifa or Pro Evo. Despite it's 3D game match engine. You could even make your own club from scratch via the database editor.
@rarson Granted using the PC isn't hard as you stated, however just because you understand the fundamentals of PC repair, installations of graphics, CPU etc. That doesn't mean everyone will understand the complex syntax code errors windows gives out and aren't exactly easy to understand, even if they do try to find out what it means to repair it on their own, they will either struggle or not understand it at all. Your over looking that simple fact, they may not have hands on experience. Roughly about 80% will be OS related problems, while the other 20% will be hardware. Take me for example, I know how to install a RAM module, but won't because am very much aware exerting TOO MUCH force can damage the RAM module (exerting enough but not too much will slot the RAM in perfectly) so I leave it too someone who can use the right amount of force/exertion. Does that make me a dunce at computers? nope.
@BigAl519 lmao, I understand my own post, unlike you who clearly doesn't understand the reference made to it. I made it quite clear that some weren't happy with other FF games. XIII being an obvious one since you (and many others) have shown displeasure at it, so why state the obvious. FF XIV being another example of it being a disaster, which you weren't aware of by the looks of it. I stand by with what I stated, read it and understand what am getting at.
@007kt To be fair most people aren't exactly PC literate. There are more tech problems with the PC. You just have to know what they are and how you can solve it. And believe me, some problems are more hassle than they are worth. There are pro's and cons for BOTH gaming PC & console.
It would be a shame to see a game like this go down the drain, especially when it's been in development cycle of 6 years. IF and that's a big IF they have canned it, then their reputation will shot to be pieces with the fans. Well some would refute that and say they already have shot their reputation to pieces with some of the FF games.
However should it be recycled as FF XV, then it would be interesting to see what they do with it. As they have already stated, they are dissatisfied with the current generations technological limitations.
