Ok simple question. I plan on buying a plasystion 3 on ebay because i cant afford a brand new one and I figure why not try to find one bundled with some games already. My concern is what if that system craps out on me? Is there somewhere I can get a secondary warranty from? Or do the systems come with some kind of manufactures warranty that I would still be able to take advantage of??

Get this ram instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148183 not only is it cheaper but the timing is better and it has micron 9 which will help alot with overclocking and judging buy your parts your going to be doing some.

So i have a solid computer right now, but my mobo and processor are pretty old.

Im running a amd athalon 64 2.2ghz processor 3700+,

2 gigs of corsair ram,

ACPI x86 mobo,

Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS,

Acer X222W 22" monitor

Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS

What I want to do is build a newer gaming rig that is fairly inexpensive (not to worried tho), but ive been out of the loop of whats new and good, its been a while since I built anything.. so anyone that wants to help post it up.. Im lookin for all parts so let me kno what works good with what (compatability) and get as technical as you want I could use to learn a thing or two! Thanks in advance!
