After wandering across many and varied game reviews, i was quite suprised, and more than a little amused by the number of people (particularly the pathetic fanboys in the HALO 3 ODST section) who have given games a rating of 10 out of 10. I have never seen a 10 out of 10 rating on a legitimate game review site, nor would i ever condone that such a rating be given to ANY game whatsoever, no matter how good it is, because there is always something to improve upon in a game. For a game to be perfect, it would signal to me that we should completely stop making games any more because there is no need to make them after such an EPIC masterpiece has been created. A 10 out of 10 rating is completely unrealistic and should be banned from ever being able to be given. I also think that the game reviews that are out there for many of the games should be thrown away. People that hype up a game to try to influence the minds of other gamers is not impartiality, but a bunch of fanboy ****. People like this, in my opinion have no place in game reviewing. Game reviewing should be reserved for those who present a solid, structured and impartial review of the game itself, complete with pros and cons!
