Top 10 Games I Wanna See At E3 2013

E3, the biggest gaming event of the year, starts today so I decided now would be the perfect time to list the games I wanna see the most at the big event.  Also in case you were wondering why Grand Theft Auto 5 isnt on the list.  Its cause Ive heard Rockstar will not be attending E3.  So I decided to not include it on the list.  If I had put it on the list though it would have been number 1.

10. EAs UFC Game

I dont tend to like traditional team sports such as football, basketball, and the other kind of football.  But sports that involve people beating the shit out of each other I absolutely love.  So THQs UFC Undisputed games were right up my alley.  But alas THQ is gone and EA now has the UFC license.  They teased the game at the Xbox One event in their little sports montage.  One of the few game related things shown during that event.  At E3 Im hoping to see what the real game looks like.  Theres a lot riding on this game.  Hopefully it goes better then EAs last attempt at a MMA game.

9. Infamous: Second Son

Infamous is a fantastic series that looks at the superhero genre in an entirely unique way.  The advantage of not being associated with a big license.  Infamous: Second Son looks to take that even further with a new hero and a storyline revolving around fighting an oppressive authority.  And who doesnt love doing that.  The new heros smoke and fire powers sound interesting and his personality seems far off from Coles.  Of course thats based solely on the trailer at the Playstation 4 event.  During Sonys E3 press conference Sucker Punch will surely show up to give gamers a glimpse into the actual game.  Lets see how this new guy follows in Coles lightening spewing footsteps.

8. Saints Row 4

Saints Row is one of the craziest, most bizarre game series out there.  Well, that doesnt come from Japan anyway.  The newest game Saints Row 4 looks to continue that tradition with all new levels of wackiness.  It features aliens and superpowers for **** sake.  The new owners of the property, Deep Silver, are sure to be showing off the game at E3.  Personally I dont give a shit who the publisher is.  I just wanna see what kind of insanity Volition has come up with this time around.

7. Batman: Arkham Origins

Rocksteady showed how amazing comic book games can be with Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.  Now a third entry named Batman: Arkham Origins is on the horizon.  But its being developed by a different team, Warner Bros. Montreal.  Luckily, everything Ive heard says the game is staying true to the style of the previous games.  But Im still curious to see for myself.  The Deathstroke trailer was all kinds of crazy but I wanna see some gameplay.  I dont see the game popping up at any of the press conferences but that doesnt write it off.  Im sure Warner Bros. will have a demo on the show floor and also be showing it off to the major gaming sites.  Cant wait to get a good look at this origin story for myself.

6. South Park: The Stick of Truth

The idea of a South Park RPG is so **** absurd it has to be awesome.  Especially when its being developed by Obsidian and has the creators of the show, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, heavily involved.  South Park: The Stick of Truth has went missing since the IP was acquired by Ubisoft after the THQ closure.  The publisher will be eager to let everyone know the game is still alive with an appearance at their E3 press conference.  And Im eager to see how far the game has come along.  Hopefully with some extensive gameplay footage.  I still have no **** clue how the combat system works.  Cutscenes of Cartman cussing people out, while hilarious, dont really tell me much about stuff like that.

5. The Elder Scrolls Online

I love the Elder Scrolls.  I love MMOs.  So a game combining the two is a dream come true.  I guess sacrificing my brother to the daedric lords paid off.  Ive been waiting for a chance to see The Elder Scrolls Online in action since it was first announced.  Ill finally get that chance during E3.  Numerous sites like Gametrailers and Gamespot have already said they will have demos of the game.  But what will be shown exactly.  After all MMOs are huge games.  Will it be a dungeon, some general questing, maybe even a little bit of character customization.  Whatever it is, Im gonna be thrilled to see it.

4. Dragon Age 3: Inquisition

Bioware is one of the top developers of western RPGs in the gaming industry.  The very idea of what they could do with next-gen hardware and DICEs Frostbite 3 engine is incredibly exciting.  Unfortunately, Bioware is has been very tight lipped about Dragon Age 3.  All theyve released so far is some concept art and a few story details.  Not to much of a stretch to assume they have been saving the big reveal for EAs E3 press conference.  So what do they have in store for fans?  A trailer, some gameplay, more in-depth details of the games story.  Whatever it is, Bioware needs to make sure its really **** awesome if they hope to win back gamers that were disappointed with Dragon Age 2.

3. Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag

Pirates are a subject matter many games dont tend to tackle these days.  Which is a real shame cause pirates are cool.  Well, for a bunch of murderous, thieving thugs that is.  Ubisoft Montreal has decided its time for these loveable seadogs to make a new presence in the video game realm with the newest entry in the blockbuster Assassins Creed series.  Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag will be one of the heavy hitters at Ubisofts E3 press conference.  And while another epic trailer would be awesome, what I really wanna see is an on-stage demo.  We have yet to see actual gameplay and E3 is the perfect time for Ubisoft to give us some.  Show off what changes and innovations this new title will bring to the series.  What will it be like to control Captain Edward as he runs along rooftops and fights the forces of the Templars.  Also while youre at it Ubisoft, how about showing some sexy winches.

2. Pokemon X & Y

Ive been a PokeManiac since Pokemon Red and Blue on the original Game Boy.  Thats 15 years of catching cute animals and forcing them to fight for money and fame.  After all these years I still geek out every time a new generation of Pokemon games are announced.  With the announcement of the newest generation, Pokemon X & Y, I geeked out harder then ever.  Thats because these new games will be the very first ones in the core Pokemon series to have 3D graphics.  Fans have been wishing for a 3D Pokemon game for years.  Well there must be a genie over at Game Freak cause our wish has finally come true.  Its kinda surreal, isnt it.  At E3 Nintendo will have a Pokemon roundtable on Tuesday.  Its a certainty they will give fans a Wailord-sized amount of new info.  What Im hoping for the most is a ton of new Pokemon being revealed.  Perhaps even the evolved forms of the starters.  There could also be more information about the Kalos region, the playable trainers, and the story.  Yes, Pokemon games have a story.  Nintendo have been slowly dripping out information over the past few months, keeping fans hungry for more.  I think E3 is when theyre gonna let the Meowth out of the Pokeball and stop teasing us PokeManiacs.

1. Battlefield 4

Since the start of this generation I have been big into online shooters.  And over the past several years I have played many of them.  Perfect Dark Zero, Gears of War, Call of Duty, and Killzone 3, to just name a few.  My most recent outlet for fulfilling my desire to kill other people has been Battlefield 3.  Im happy to say its done a damn fine job.  But E3 is about looking into the future and that future is Battlefield 4.  EA and DICE first showed off the game at GDC back in March.  While the game looked simply gorgeous, the single player demo wasnt exactly what fans wanted to see.  People are still making jokes about that cheesy leg cutting scene.  But luckily at E3 DICE will be giving those fans what theyve been waiting for, the reveal of the games multiplayer.  How are DICE going to expand upon the great multiplayer from Battlefield 3?  More destructible environments, bigger maps, higher player count, more weapons and gadgets, new types of vehicles, maybe even dogs.  I dont know but Im sure as hell excited to find out.
