i have an official copy of command and conqer the first decade and when i go to play command and conqer generals zero hour online, it says serial number is invalid. i recently had to uninstall tfd, but i couldnt find my codes, so i called EA and got some new codes and now it gives me that message (serial number is invalid). how do i tell it that it is a good code or do i have to uninstall every trace of the game and reinstall it? if i do have to get rid of EVERYTHING that involves the game, how do i do that?

You know what your video details are, but please post them here.

If dxdiag has details for an older of 2 video cards, then you should take the old one out - if it has details for your new card - then maybe a driver update would help your system.

Keep in mind, on system requirements lab, if you meet the minimum settings for a game, you will have to run the game on low/lowest settings - what you really want to do is meet the recommended if possible.

Again, please post the details you get from dxdiag here so we can see what your system has in it.
