It does point to the 1st card, but it doesn't mean the card is faulty, the socket where it sits could be. It would be best to test 1 at a time, if your a little scared, watch a few youtube videos on how to remove a pci-e card, its fairly straight forward.

If it was the socket what would i need to do? switch sockets or what?
Well if you mean taking my GPUs out and testing one by by im kinda iffy about taking it out cause as u can tell idk that much about hardware and im affraid ill screw something up. although i just ran a GPU test w/ furmark without crossfire enabled and the avg fps was 9 and max fps was 19. so i went and enabled my crossfire back and ran it again and it came out with avg 98 fps and 148max fps. Would that mean the GPU i have in slot 1 is most likely faulty or is there no way to really tell without me taking it out and testing 1 by 1?
hmm i just ran the furmark stability test again except this time in 1024res and it crashed at 83c. Also how come my 2nd card isnt getting any activity during that test? its all loading it onto my 1st one. shouldnt my 2nd card be taking some of the load if its in crossfire?

Is crossfire enabled in CCC?
and are you sure that 1 card isn't faulty?
Yeah its enabled. and i just ran the test again and it appears both loads went that time. not sure whats up with this though.
hmm i just ran the furmark stability test again except this time in 1024res and it crashed at 83c. Both my GPUs seemed to reach 100% activity... I dont get how bfbc2 would be able to make my gpus both hit max though even at high settings.
Well im not sure that 86c is the temps im getting while playing BFBC2 since sometimes i can play for hours on high settings on bfbc2 with no issues also i do notice that the landscapes start flashing/flickering like lights sort of..hard to explain. and the 86c temps i got that crashed me i got from furmark.
And when i play BFBC2 on medium settings i rarely EVER crash. which its abit disappointing cause i really customized this comp so i could play on max settings and still be able to fraps and stuff while doing it without stuff like this happening =/ Also any ideas of what i should do or try to find out what exactly the problem may be. i complety have no clue as to what i should do.
So as some of you know ive been crashing if i run BFBC2 on high settings, ive tried everything from running on high settings on dx9(which didnt crash as soon) but it still crashed. So i was talking to IBP support(where i got my PC from) and they gave me the link to a furmark program to test your GPUs and for OCing ect. well i ran a stability test and my GPUs hit 86c and soon as it did i had the exact same crash as i did on BFBC2 so im assuming my cards are overheating on bfbc2 which is why they crash but i dont get how they are crashing if im using a HAF932 case and liquid cooling i mean the comp it self cools me off sitting next to it. So what should i do? should i turn on manual fan speeds in the CCC when i play BFBC2 and run the fans at like 80%( they seem to stay around 30-55% fan speed) or should i turn my Clocks down abit? my current settings that came default are clocked to High Performance GPU @ 950MHz, High Performance Memory @ 1200MHz, and the Current Values are GPU Clcok 157MHz, and Memory clock 300MHz.
Also what is normal range of celsius the temps run in when gaming that is safe and what temps are too high?
