What are you playing while everyone else gets suckered out of a cool $60?

I'm currently going through Prince of Persia 2008, a fun title that has alot of unique qualities to it, even if it is quite easy. I'm also looking for games similar to it that AREN'T Assassins Creed 1/2.

It's because everything has been done to death, The industry is nothing but sequels and its really starting to become stale. I'll put it like this, I'm reverting back to last gen because games out now are all the same. I'm going to pick up Thief 3 tomorrow, a game that came out 6 years ago and I'm more excited about it than anything thats came out in the past year for current gen games. As for multiplayer, there are only so many types of MP games out, FPS being the most prevelant and despite the graphics they are all the same.

The one that leaves 60 Bucks in my pocket, LOL. Same old crap, new case design. Save your money for Majin and The Forsaken Kingdom.

Crackdown 2 anyone?Shanemalouf

Actually it didn't even deserve the 7 it got, it was a copy and paste job from the first with a smidgen of new content that didnt warrant the 60 dollar price tag, HELL IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DLC RELEASED YEARS AGO!

A game I think deserves a little more credit is Nier, yeah the Graphics are sub-standard in parts, but MAN THE STORY IS INSANE! You know whats funny though? This game actually took risks, tried to be a little more creative with its design ( What RPG has a Bullet shooter element that works so well? HELL WHAT RPG HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH A BULLET SHOOTER!) and sadly this game was so rejected it ended the studio and cost a lot of people jobs. I'm a little tuckered on jack and coke so the jobs thing probably only appeals to a buzzed person, but the game OVERALL was very INTRIGUING and I think it deserved a better rap than it got.

I completely agree with that aspect Ace, as a reviewer I can give a voice to games that very few people know of, and I really enjoy that as well.

If you consider divorce "dumping" someone, then I am guilty of dumping my ex-wife. I dumped her because she was a neurotic mess that constantly physically and psychologically abused me. I was in the air force at the time, running a post office by myself then coming home to cook and clean for her to try and make her happy. After almost 2 years of her BS i left the air force and her behind to start a new life in the united states. Between 2003 and 2009 I barely touched games, a hobby that helped form my imagination when I was young, and because I was so depressed that my marriage failed I picked games up again, never let anyone tell you games are just entertainmentl, they can be magic.

I enjoy reading other peoples opinions about games I enjoyed or disliked. I was just wondering when you all write game reviews here on gamespot, how much care do you put into them? It seems to me I put alot more than alot of people. Mainly because I like to write, but also because giving a "low" score to a popular game never seems to be justified, people just write how they like it or hate it,not why. I find that writing , and even reading, game reviews is quite entertaining and really shows you the really good writers out there that deserve a job as a game reviewer way more than some of the people hired by companys such as IGN. What are your thoughts?
