I think some of you may be overreactnig, this is an animal eating other animals, that's what nature is all about. The only real bad things I see here are smashing the lizard's heads with a rock, that's not right. But yeah, they parents need to pay the $5500 and keep a better eye on their kid.Half-Life_man

Are you kidding me? That is it? Keep a better eye on the kid? These are signs of mentally disturbed individual. If he's not dealt with, there's a good chance he'll move onto humans in the future.

Vegetarians have a much lower risk for disease and heart problems until they are about 90, and then everything starts to even out.H8sMikeMoore

the problem with your faulty stats is that its compared to people who have a typical diet(also known as high in carbs and saturated fat...mcdonalds etc). You also completely avoided the b12 thing after calling it bogus :|

You can get B-12 from non meat sources.

Plants do not supply B-12 to humans. Vegan humans who eat only plant based foods must ordinarily take special care to supplement their diets accordingly. According to the U.K. , the only reliable sources of B-12 are foods fortified with B-12 (including some soy products and some breakfast cereals), and B-12 supplements.

Also, its owrth noting that soy production has been causing massive rain forest deforestation.

You could be a lacto-ovo vegetarian and get it, but youre essentially supporting the meat industry anyway.

If soy production causing massive rain forest deforestation is worth mentioning, then why not mention the the largest cause for rainforest depletion is cattle ranching for meat and diary, a lot of which is exported to the U.S?

because most american meat is farmed in the us :|

And the U.S isn't a large farmer of soy?

It's not that off-topic. as for you question animal populations would probably explode, then we would have to kill some anyway (though this is an uneducated opinion) btw what is that in your avatar >.>

Why would animal populations explode?

deer populations would sky rocket if people didnt hunt them, infact in pa we had a problem with over population a few years ago and allowed people to take an extra buck or do or whatever

That's because humans in Pennsylvania staved off the deers natural predator decades ago.

we are a natural predator

We weren't always the only natural predator. The only reason the deer population would sky rocket if humans stopped hunting them is because they've driven off other predators such as wolves and coyotes.

If I knew a vegetarian that just didnt support slaughter houses but went and hunted for meat I would respect that.

I just felt like saying that.

H8sMikeMoore

I think that somewhat defeats of the point of being a vegetarian. But I don't hunt for #1 it doesn't seem interesting #2 against my faith and #3 It's not sport in my opinion unless you go into the woods with nothing but with clothes on your back. Anyone can shoot a gun. Not saying there's no skill just saying there only a limited amount.

it definitely does defeat the traditional point of vegetarianism. but hunting is humane. People need meat, if you want to be hume then hunt for it.

humans invent things, thats why were at the top of the food chain. Its a good thing.

Why do you keep saying "people need meat". In what sense are you using the word "people"? Humans do not need meat. If they did, vegetarians wouldn't be alive, now would they? They would die an unnatural death due to their diet, but that doesn't happen. Infact, vegetarians tend to live long. Regardless of whether you think vegetarian diet is healthy or not, or that miss out on certain vitamins and nutrients, saying humans "need" meat is so blatantly incorrect.
