It's kind of a system that hasn't aged well, i have a hard time playing the rpg's etc... The platformers and certain other games are still great but the graphics for the rpg's are kind of hard to play.
You know it's funny when i think about it, it's almost like ps3 vs 360. The PS3 has the better graphics and better exclusives then the 360. But I played the sega more then snes because segas action games ran faster as did there sports games which i played a lot of.
Well i'm 30, so i was 13 in 93 and at the time i wanted a Jag becasue it seemed more like a normal console but with 64 BIT POWER YEA! But looking back now the 3DO is a lot funner I have both and enjoy using the 3dO more.

It wasn't really 64-bit, though. More like early 32-bit and they said it was 64-bit because it had two 16-bit processors and one 32-bit processor.
Jaguar also had no dedicated 3D hardware meaning it's 3D performance was a lot worse than Sega Saturn and PS1.

I'm 30 and i remember the 2600 as a kid before i remeber playing the nes. But even as a kid i thought it sucked and the graphics were ass (i'm serious) But when i played super mairo bros for the first time late 86 i was in love instanly. So basicly i don't collect anything pre-nes because it holds no nostalgic value to me. But are there any peeps on here that sit down and have long gaming sessions with there 2600? It's just to rustic for me.
I have both systems and anyone who says Jaguar has a bad library hasn't played enough of its games. That said, 3DO gets a slight advantage due to Super Street Fighter II Turbo. I'm sick of teenagers on the internet making fun of systems and games they've never played just because of perception.savebattery

i agree with this very much, it's one of the reasons the ps3 community is just not there. There really isn't a ps3 community. Plus there arcade setup is much better then the ps3 being able to play demos of everything there is.
IMO it's by far nintendo's worst console, the gamecube was threre last great console and is there 3rd best console ever being much better then the n64. Just Because it sold well doesn't mean anything, the pet rock sold millions and all it was... was a rock in a box... Fads are Fads and with media hype ANYTHING can sell. You had this entire generation of adults that for the first time in there lives could play video games with there kids and that blew them away. Wii Sports Saved Nintendo as crazy as that sounds at least in the homeconsole market. But nintendos next console is going to need to complete in the multiplatform market with a MUCH better online setup. Because nintendo's next console is not going to be saved by wii sports, the older adults have alreay played it so better graphics aren't going to make a diffrence.
