The 13th picture in the rain is from Gears 1.
But the level of detail is immense, just look at Marcus' character model in picture 2. Each part accurately textured and modeled. The character models are amazing, look at the attention to detail.
No chance. The game is Published by microsoft, and this game is considered as a 1st party exclusive, just as Halo and Gears of War.
Go to Xbox.com and search "Mass Effect" if you want proof.
Microsoft game on a Sony console?
Hmmmm....
PS3 is outselling the 360 in europe and very soon it will be the world. 360 owners have to live up to the fact..... your console inferior. No offense. Don't go saying the online play is better. 1.) You have to pay 2.) The PS3 online isn't far behind the quality of xbox live now. 3.) PS3 is getting home soon 4.) Off the topic but your console causes house fires. 5.) PS3 has internet browserEvilFlanders88
How can you say something like: "Oh, your console is inferior. No offense."
Do expect by adding "No offense." at the end, you nullify your previous comment? Blatant comments like these are what makes a fanboy a fanboy.
1) "You have to pay." Oh yeah, and because of this revenue Microsoft is making, we are getting FFXIII, Tekken 6 and soon (hopefully) MGS4.
2) "The PS3 online isn't far behind the quality of Xbox Live now." Are you living in a hole? When I turn on my 360 and find that an update is available, all I have to do is click "A". Wohoo, downloading, restarted, done. PS3, Download, Install (Files are MUCH larger than 360), and finally restart. Your PSN store gets demos later than 360, and cannot download them while playing a game OR in a low power state.
3) "PS3 is getting home soon." Wohoo, we get the Sims on the PS3. Only now, there is no point. What are you going to do exacly in "Home"? Other than creating an avatar, you can walk around, admire the meeting places, and that's about it. Are you going to waste your time "exploring virtual space" when you could be playing a real game?
4) "Off the topic but your console causes house fires." Off topic but your PS3 makes a good grill: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLnm_dRzr84&feature=related
5) "PS3 has internet browse." Whoop de freaking do... Do you spend your time manually entering in the url with the gamepad? It takes more time to type in the actual URL, than it does to load the page. Apart from having many features disabled on this "Half" browser, you also risk infecting your PS3.
So, please, instead of being a blatant retard get your facts straight.
[QUOTE="Commando3200"]Far Cry 2 has already had 9 from OXM and 9.4 from PC Gamer. Both touted that the "open world" worked well.
Gears of war 2 is not small in scale. For example, just look at the first gameplay ever released. Amazing visual design and object geometries. Hundreds of enemies onscreen. In later footage (The one where you fight the brumak and are ready to ride it at the end), you find a large density crowd. The player shoots one, and the crowd attacks him.
Resistance 2 is ok. I like the huge boss battles, and the huge maps. Only problem is, the attention to detail isn't that impressive. For example, in Sony's E3 press conference, they showed of R2 footage. The textures were monotone, and object designs were linear (Too perfect looking rectangular shapes for buildings).
Although neither of the games are out yet, Gears of War 2 has accomplished scale and amazing graphics. Resistance has accomplished a slightly larger scale game with slightly sub par graphics.
I'm not going to lie, I own an Xbox 360, but if you own a PS3...
You should be waiting for Killzone 2, THAT is a good fps and I won't deny it. Pretty much Sony's answer to Halo 3.
mtradr43
i would be very careful with that statement....
Although I've never played it personally, after seeing gameplay, I can say that it is not a shoddy gimmick like Resistance.
If it is good or not? Well, that is up to the player, my friend.
But the game in response to Halo 3? Maybe, maybe not. Killzone was a flagship shooter for the PlayStation 2, and it should be for the PS3. I stick with my judgement that Killzone was Sony's answer to Halo. Whether they are achieving the same success? Hmmm...

Hey all.
First off, i'm a Lemming. This means that I will actively support the 360 in every situation
In the following link, you will see the dev's of Rage dishing dirt on both MS and Sony:
http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3169112
MS: "You need bigger disks"
Sony: "Overrated"
Take a look and ponder for a moment. Now think about all the money that Sony spent on the Cell processor.
Note: This is one of my first posts in the forums, so I didn't know how to create a link.
