Yes I understand, if you shoot in 3 round burst you can fire more effectively, but characters move too fast to do much close in, everyone hits the melee button until they get their kill, lame.
Balance issues that still exist, The rifle is useless when trying to take a person down, but when shooting a turret it works great. The hawks foot stomp needs to go away. The ability to take a tank down with a knife needs to go away. You should be able to spawn with some type of explosive besides grenades, something to take a building down with. The game needs land mines to protect from vehicles. Walls are a joke. Tanks can be taken down too easily. You should be able to spawn with a repair tool. Everyone uses the knife, you figure the developers would take a look at who's been doing what and fix most of these things. The game has a lot of flaws, and unless they address them, this should not be classified as a shooter. What makes games shooters is the ability to shoot someone and kill them. If you look at any stats from a person, I can guarantee they have more knife kills than anything. Ohh yeah, sometimes the turrets work and sometimes they don't. And why can the enemy spawn vehicle production points in my home base? Why can you only take enough rockets to take down one building? Hopefully the gaming industry takes note of this game. Mixing RTS and a shooter together is a great idea, but if you can get the mechanics of the game down you will flop. I am sure that in the future one of these companies that we have all given mucho mucho dollars to will come up with something better than this. For now I will put this game aside, if they come out with better patches, then maybe. Back to Battlefield 3, waiting for Borderlands 2. Such a waste of 16 hours.
