An unbiased comparison of the PS3/360.

Since I own both a PS3 and XBOX 360 I will give you the most unbiased opinion possible.

Pros of the XBOX 360:

1. Easy-to-use online menus. This is not the case with the PS3.

2. Most games are made for the Xbox 360. Whilst the PS3 just gets ****ty bug infested ports (excluding the awesome exclusives the PS3 has). Here's a couple examples. I've played Saint's Row 2 on both XBOX 360 and PS3. Both games run fine, but the audio for the PS3 version always cuts out when you go to a cutscene. I also bought Skyrim for the PS3, it lagged so bad I had to trade it back in and get the 360 version.

3. Game Selection. The 360 has the largest game library I believe.

4. You can listen to music while gaming.

Cons of the XBOX 360:

1. Unreliable Hardware. I'm now on my 4th XBOX 360. Many people who currently own 360s will tell you they've gone through multiple ones as well due to RRoD (Which is not a problem if you have a slim version). But the MAIN reason why this console breaks down on you is because if you move it AT ALL, while it is turned on and has a disc inside, your game is officially ruined. If this happens multiple times the console will no longer read discs. Another problem I've been having is the controller. If you have a chargeable battery pack the cords or the battery packs always die on you (Die = will not hold charge/charge) at some point.

2. MICROSOFT BLOWS! You have to pay 10$ a month or 25$ for 3 months for XBOX LIVE. Not to mention that they could of easily fixed the disc destroying problem but decided "Hey lets be cheap douchebags and just slap a sticker on the front of the console saying "Do not move while console is on and a disc is inside."

3. Child infested online gaming community.

Pros of the PS3:

1. Amazing exclusives. Infamous 1/2, Drakes Fortune 1-3, Demon's Souls, etc. The exclusives are the only reason why I keep my PS3.

2. Free online play. If you're a CoD player then I would definitely recommend getting a PS3 to save you money instead of spending it on XBOX LIVE timecards.

3. Massive Storage Devices. My PS3 slim is a 320 gig the largest HDD for the PS3, so if you store alot of music, videos and other media, go for the PS3 because you have 70 more gigs than the biggest XBOX 360 HDD which is 250gigs.

4. Not many pre-pubescent children with mics in online games.

Cons of the PS3:

1. Crappy ports. Due to most games being formatted for the XBOX 360, the ps3's non-exclusive games tend to be ridden with bugs such as the Saints Row 2 audio problem and Skyrim's lag.

2. You can't listen to music while playing a game.

3. Not many of your friends will have PS3s. It's sad but true. Only a couple of my friends actually play PS3.

I hope it helps with your decision making! :) If you are wondering which of the two consoles I play more. It would be the 360. But that is just me.
