[QUOTE="Zero_epyon"][QUOTE="Miroku32"]Dont know, I still think the ps3 is better. Expect the lemmings to come.sexy_robot_man

Good I want them to try to explain this.

I'll make it easy. 1.Better Library 2. Most of their friends probably own one 3. far better online service(don't bother debating COWS) 4. Netflix streaming 5. Best controller for a console ever made

As I am to understand it Wi-Fi and Blu-Ray make the pS3 better? you are adding value to features most gamers don't care about in the real world. Any self respecting online gamer will have his or her console hardwired to the internet and Blu-Ray players are cheaper as a stand alone nowadays.

Wait what??? You mention blu-ray and wi-fi and that doesnt add value to most gamers? But then you mention Netflix streaming  ? Blu-ray is used in the ps3, obviously. Gamers will need that..... Wifi aswell because, not everyone is 1 feet away from their modem.. Also the last sentence, ps3 is still rated as one of the best blu-ray players out there if one is looking for one...

[QUOTE="Cornchips1222"][QUOTE="93soccer"]

If you can show me proof that people were hyping it being better than blu-ray than I will believe you, until then I think your just a cow. Also, I never had my video re-buffer so I don't think that's MS's problem but rather your connection.

MizFitAwesome

read the threads since the ps3 announcement and you will see lemmings downplaying blu-ray mentioning 1080p coming to 360.

So how would you know about any threads during the PS3 announcement if you are level 2 with 12 posts?

huh? The ps3 announcement being the price drop and how lemmings try to down play it. And non members can read the forums too you know. Oh and im not a cow or w.e u people here call it. I own a 360, wii, not a ps3.

[QUOTE="tbolt76"]No, what I am saying is true. Cable companies run trunks to a central point in a neighborhood. These are shared and the more people in the meighborhood with the service, the less bandwidth you will have. During peak hours, you will have the least amount of bandwidth available. Think of it as a highway. At 12 noon on Saturday, usually there isn't much traffic and you can do 65, but at 8am on Monday, you may be stuck in bumper to bumper, doing 35. Cable companies never guarantee an advertised speed, they advertise "up to," which is noted in their T&C's. You benefit if you live in a sparsley populate area or there are multiple providers in your area. If you are in a densly populated area, with only one provider, you will not see anything close to the advertised speeds, in fact, it will not be unusual for you to be running less than 1MB during peak times. Velocitas8

Again, you're talking garbage. It was true a few years ago, but it simply is not true these days.

I get my rated speeds at all hours of the day, in a city with a population density of 3,000/sq mi (not huge, but certainly not tiny.)

same and I live in NYC. Though, since friday my modem has been acting up and I keep getting disconnected :?

Netflix is a ripoff for 360 owners because you have to pay for GOLD which is 50 dollars to even use the service on the 360. If I was a new customer, id first have to pay Netflix, then pay MS 50, to gain access to the Netflix app on the 360 to stream movies. The 360 basically acts as an extender, no other does what MS's 360 is doing.

During E3, MS promise to present instant streaming 1080p movies instead of installing em to the HDD like you use to, in a way to somehow lower the value of a blu-ray player. For anyone that has a 360 knows this will not work. Ever watch a HD streaming clip from the dashboard? For example, the 1 vs 100 behind the scene clip is in HD and it suffers from re-buffering. Usually when you have a strong connection (mines is cable modem, cable IO service, 360 connected via ethernet), it still suffers from buffering. Then its the streaming of 1080p. How is this better than a blu-ray disc. Again, its not going to be installed to HDD but instead streaming. Lemming need to stop boosting about this when trying to diminish the ps3's bluray. Yes, cows shouldnt boost about their blu-ray because technically it isnt exclusive to em, but to this day, ps3 is rated as one of the top blu-ray players out there. Same goes to lemmings boosting about Netflix, which imo, is a rip off for xbox users. Ps3 owners can also have netflix...

The PS3 is like Wile E. Coyote no matter what crazy scheme he comes up with he will never catch Road Runner (Xbox 360).

Miyuki-Chan
No. XBOX 360 is the Coyote because it has a high chance of failing, creating an error..

So you're using Topics on this site as evidence? Lol *walks out of thread*

EazyD91
can people read at Gamespot? I am not saying the 54 percent is accurate people, READ. I am saying you are FOOLISH to think the 360 is not poorly made and doesnt have a high failure rate. And again, I present, in case you didnt believe, an option to read what retailers have said. I find theirs more accurate then the magazines poll!
