It would seem that the general concensus is that we are going to leave behind GameSpot and its myriad glitches, to form a new, more functional home on a Zetaboard. I have looked over Zetaboard, and it does seem like a good alternate to GameSpot. We can still send PMs and even though blogs have fallen somewhat out of favor, those are also an option. We can still make polls, and there are a host of other features that would be completely new to us, including the ability to completely ignore somebody, embed videos, and have the forum automatically keep track of birthdays. If we are going to go, Zetaboard has my full support. However, before we depart, there are a few questions that must be answered.

1. Do we still want to be called The Catz Clan? We barely even mention kitties now, so having a new board called The Catz Clan would be a misnomer. Or do we want to preserve the name simply for the sake of tradition?

2. Leaving GameSpot also means we will be leaving behind Slyfur (as I very much doubt she is going to appear out of thin air to lead us to our new sanctuary). Somebody new will clearly be in charge. Previous votes have suggested that either Jager or myself act as the new leader. Do those results still stand? :oops:

3. Once we leave GameSpot, we are cut off from its vast pool of new recruits.  Should we invite other people to join us in our new home, or do we simply maintain our core group? As much as I enjoy everybody here, the conversations have been exceptionally lacking as of late. Even if we do invite new people, I realize that most will choose not to join us, but I feel that new blood is essential going forward.

4. Since this will be our message board, we will no longer be limited by the constraints of GameSpot's laws. Thus, we get to forge our own Catz Clan Constitution. As rotten as you boys are, I think that my only suggestion (and the only one that anyone would follow) is that we strive to treat each other well! 

Once all of these details are ironed out, I will go ahead and create a new board for us (assuming I am the leader). :oops: :cry:

I also got New Super Mario Bros. 2 (and Kingdom Hearts, finally). I was also tempted to purchase a shiny new purple 3DS, that way I don't have to share with Aidan anymore, but my frugal side kept that from happening.

I'm only on World 1-3, so I can't give very much in the way of a verdict, but I can confirm that it is a lot of fun, and that collecting coins is oddly addictive (even after two stages! :lol: ). My only complaint thus far is the fact that the 3D is very poorly done; when you bump the 3D slider up, it makes everything in the background extremely blurry.
