...And played my first Pokemon game, "Pokemon Ruby" and I actually enjoyed it. I somehow managed to put in just 25 seconds short of 60hrs and I beat it in a week, which is odd because usually I can spend a month or two putting in 35 hours as I play to and from work on the subway.

   As I said, I enjoyed it, the whole game is really about grinding and I enjoy building up my characters in any RPG. Having such fun with this only makes me sad that I didn't play any of these games sooner, and I think that if my first exposure to Pokemon hadn't been the cartoon (which put me off so much) then I might have played these years ago.
