So I bought BFBC2 and popped it in my playstation and it said it needed to update, but when I tried to update it said it would take 40,000 minutes.I tried just leaving it and letting it sort it out but I got the 80710723 error (I think thats the code) So I called PSN and I moved my playstation to a wired ethernet connection, disabled media server, power cycled my router, put my playstation in my routers DMZ and even got a different copy of the game. Still it wont update, tried EA and they said it was all sony and they still havent helped me out. it is however down to 2,000 minutes but won't pass 0%.

So this seemed like the most appropriate board. Anyways my dad got a new laptop from his work so I have his old laptop. I was wondering is there a way to just wipe the whole computer (Getting rid of anything malicious which I know theres somestuff up with this computer) and leave just a blank factory style Windows Vista. Or is there anything similar I can do?
