if the upgrade version is more than 100 pounds i say screw Microsoft got dual boot here of vista n win 7, i see no performance improvement with my sig rig, in fact it boots the same speed too so, got rocketdock cool UI for my desktop, features on vista are great, games like crysis/warhead for me runs same on both oses, its all a ploy to get xp users onto the shiny new version of vista.

mind you i would pay 60 pounds for the upgrade.

Hey guys. So I'm about to build myself a new gaming rig but I've got a question about what motherboard/ram to go with.

There's a place here(in canada) called NCIX that has a bundle on a EVGA x58 + 6gb(6x1gb) DDR3-1866 memory for $450

would this be a good purchase or should I get the Asus P6T + 6gb(3x2gb) Corsair DDR3-1333 for ~$500(+ shipping which would be about $20 making it approx $70 more expensive)

I know with DDR2 memory using, for example, 4 x1 gb ram could yield much worse results than 2x2gb but I'm not sure if this will affect DDR3 the same.

So which do you think the best buy would be?

I'll be getting a Core i7 920 with it.. I'm not planning on OCing right away but I may later on

Too Human is actually a decent game. Lair on the other hand is arguably on par with Legendary for atrociousness

they got the same score but they aren't the same caliber of game

I've played through Gears entirely and am about 3 hours in to R2's SP and about 15 hours logged in MP

R2 is a AAA game.... but it's not Gears 2

Gears 2 is the best game I have ever played. how it only managed a 9 I don't know. Everything about the game is substantially better than the original

not so much with LBP cuz it's definately a contender... but it doesn't stack up to games like Fallout 3, Dead Space, Gears 2, or Resistance 2
