God of War! Definately!

Although the Resident Evil games were pretty hardcore at the time!

But when you think, for the time, the worst has to be the original Sega Megadrive/Genesis version of Mortal Kombat and all it's glorious fatalities that scared the crap out of me as a kid! :cry:

I've had 3!

The first one I bought, I sold on eBay and used the money to get a chipped one which was my second.

When I destroyed that one in temper, I bought my third one (Version 10, I think!?) and equipped it with a Swap Magic and Flip Top Cover!

Now my nephew can't destroy my prized originals, but can destroy my 33p DVD-r back-ups! haha! I rule! :D

For first time play and absolute state of being in awe, I would say Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater,

But for overall value, ability to play even now, even though the graphics are as obsolete as the Musket, it has to be Civilization 2.

I can still play that even now! In fact I was playing that about 3 weeks ago!

And I have a PC powerful enough to play the brand new FPS but still, Civilization 2!

God of War is violent, but it has a purpose. Grand theft auto, any one really, is just senseless violence and mass murder, killing hookers and cops alike. dam its a good game :)
