On work days I get up at around 530. So on the weekends I usually sleep until about 8:30-9 because to me that is sleeping in (even after staying up later during the night).

My advice might sound crazy but I do cayenne pepper shots (just some water with enough cayenne pepper in it to make it red). It burns of course but it seems to really help get all the gunk out of the system. I do a couple of those a day. Another weird thing to try is hydrogen peroxide in the ears. It will bubble up and then you drain it out. My colds are usually over within a few days when I do these things. I've also had other people try it too and it has worked for them (you can look it up too, they seem to be popular natural cures).
