My Song Of The Week 11!

Hey everyone:D!

This week, I've picked a song from the album I reviewed last week. I you havn'tread last weeks 'My Song Of The Week', I reviewed the Hilltop Hoods new album State Of The Art. Anyway, the song's called 'Parade Of The Dead' and although the name may sound gloomy, it actually isn't, although it is about fighting zombies:P! I have no idea why the Hilltop Hoods wrote a song about fighting zombies, but it's still a great song because of the great beats, catchy lyrics and the overall package is fantastic to listen to. The beats are different to anything Lil Jon would produce, but they're still great and have a uniquely Australian style to them. The Hilltop Hoods are a fantastic rap group, they're talented, unique and even though they've released a fair few albums now, their music is still new and it doesn't repeat on what they've done before. Anyway, I wasn't joking about the zombie thing, if you listen to the song and especially the chorus, you'll hear that they're actually going on about zombies. I mean, this is how the chorus goes: They built my city on top of a grave, now the dead roam the street like a rotting parade, they pour gas on me on top of the lake and then they set it on fire so nobody escape. Well, that's about half of the chorus anyway. I know it may sound odd but it's a fantastic song, and it's one of the best, if not the best song on their new album, State Of The Art and State Of The Art is a fantastic album too. Anyway, I highly recommend you listen to this song even if it's just to see if it is actually about zombies, which is is, or to hear the epic version of heads, shoulders, knees and toes (And yes, there's an epic version of heads, shoulders, knees and toes on it starting at 2 minutes and 38 seconds into the song (The whole song goes for 3 minutes and 35 seconds, so it's a relatively short song.).). Anyway, I'll rate it 8.9 out of ten. Happy gaming:D!
