No difference huh? maybe you should try playing LOTR II in 720 then change to HD see if you can notice 'no difference'. It's like saying there is no difference between a $10 bottle of goon and a Grange Hermitage, yeah they're both essentially rotten grape juice but I know which one I'd choose. I agree with once you go HD you never go back along with other things I'd never go back from ie. broadband, 19inch LCD, supercharged V6, and asian chicks.
Yeah gamers in any country other than the almighty USA have been ripped off in that you can't actually see which games to join that are in your neighbourhood. The Forza community seems really good because of the depth of the game seems to frighten off mummy's boys that think swearing when mummy's downstairs on her back earning money to pay for broadband is heaps tuff ya'll....GANGSTA. If you want to see a difference in HD and SD try playing LOTR on a CRT, forget about it. I'm in Australia as well, as soon as Telstra has sorted its beef out with the ACCC the gamer community here will increase as more people will have ADSL2 thats affordable and it'll bring quality players that'll speak proper 'strayn with a sprinkling of 'hey bro' chucked in there too, persevere bro, in the meantime get Oblivion and wait for the revolution.
