Halo: Combat Evolved. The Shooter that changed everything.

Halo: Combat Evolved was the best launch title in the history of games. This game brought a great story and great graphics together for one incredible game. The levels have some great action, and also some incredible gameplay. Some levels do get a bit drawn out though, and it can seem repetitive. Sometimes you feel like you're going in circles because the maps seem to have some similar- almost too similar- areas. The story in Halo is incredible, probably the best in the series. The games have such a rich history that it makes them feel real. The graphics were incredible for their time, and I still like the look great today. The one thing the game fell short on was online multiplayer. Not the best, spawn points were definitely the worst part. Someone could aim their sniper rifle at a spawn point and kill everyone who spawns, and because there were very few spawn points, if others were occupied you would only spawn at one. The voice acting in Halo: CE is superb, and better than most video games. This game deserves a [9.5/10]. Did you hear they're making a remake? Check it out. http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/099/099701.html -Please track me and tell your friends. Every bit counts. Thanks! -Also check out my IGN account which is also CrysisG32. And I'd like to say I was wrong about my Legend of Zelda: OoT Review. I would like to give the game [10/10] as I can't imagine the game being any better. Thanks for reading and please continue to read!

Metal Gear Solid. a SOLID game.

Metal Gear Solid pretty much invented the stealth genre in video games. No longer did you have to shoot your way out of every situation. MGS's story was one of a kind. No video game had ever had such a detailed story before. The voice acting was average, but for its time it was not so bad. The graphics were incredible at the time, and still don't look so bad today. The AI was average, but good for the time. If you ran to fast or made to much noise, the AI would come look for you. This could get annoying, and if you right in front of- but not in- their field of vision, they couldn't see you. That made it pretty unrealistic. Overall, this was a great game though, and it still is. [9.3/10]

Crysis 2, a Well Done Game

Crysis 2 set the bar very high for 2011 games. The game consists of a great story, incredibly graphics, and just being an awesome shooter. It doesn't feel like your average shooter, its much better. Fighting aliens is always a good time, and Crysis 2 shows this. The campaign is around 10 hours long, and every second is incredible. The story is a good one, but throughout the whole game, you never feel like you know what you are trying to do. You could be rescuing civilians, or trying to find an apartment building, but you don't see how your getting anywhere. In the end **SPOILER ALERT** you destroy all the aliens. Then you wonder how you got there and how you did it. When finally blew up the park in the last level and killed all the aliens, I had no clue I was even trying to destroy them all. But the games graphics are the real achievement. Crysis 2 runs on Cryengine 3, which is probably the most advanced engine in gaming. While playing I felt as if Cryengine 3 was almost to advanced for the 360. Frame rate often slowed down quite a bit during checkpoints. Crysis 2 takes a while to get into, but once you do, you can't stop. Overall, it's a fun game, and definitely worth buying. [8.7/10] Check me out on IGN! CrysisG32 is my account on there to.

Ocarina of Time, Possibly best game ever.

Every person who would like to call themselves a gamer has had to play the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Now we've all heard great things about this game, but what is it that truly makes it great? Well, let me tell you. This games story was incredible. Never before was there so much depth in a video game. When finished playing Ocarina, you felt as if you truly went on a quest. But compared to todays stories in games, it was not as good, but I would give STORY [9/10]. Ocarina's graphics were stunning at the time. Simply Beautiful. It made the game seem almost like a work of art. Always a pleasure to look at, even 15 years later. I give GRAPHICS [10/10]. Now, Gameplay and controls. Gameplay was very good-incredible actually- but controls were a different story. the controls were pretty simple, but sometimes it seems they could use some improvement. Using your slingshot could get difficult at times, but the rest was alright. So, I'd give GAMEPLAY [10/10]. And CONTROLS [8/10] And Lastly, characters. All of the characters are familiar, But somehow you still don't know much about their personalities. Since there is no voice acting in the game it will be difficult to develop character in future games. Not to say I want voice acting in Zelda games though, that would be very weird. The game does need better character development though. So, I will give CHARACTERS [7/10] OVERALL [44/50] The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a masterpiece. It has some flaws, contrary to popular belief. But nevertheless an incredible game, that is always fun to come back to. Now this review averaged would equal 88%. But that doesn't make sense does it? This game deserves a [9.5].

Metal Gear and Zelda

Just took a trip back in time to play some of the greatest games in the past 20 years. Metal Gear Solid, the epic espionage action thriller for the PS1. And Zelda Ocarina of time, probably the best game to grace the N64. Yes, very different games to be doing a single review about, but these are some of my favorite memories, so I'll just sharing. Metal Gear Solid, the game the created the stealth genre. It is now part of a 4 part series, that is awaiting a spinoff called MGS: Rising. A good cast of characters, good graphics (at the time), and a fantastic story were some of the good. Some of the bad? Well, the games mediocre voice acting from a few characters can definately get on your nerves. But the rest of the voice acting was quite average. Overall MGS was a fantastic game, and if you are looking to play the same game with better graphics, try MGS: the Twin Snakes for Gamecube. Now for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I have some amazing memories of playing this game as a child. Everything about the game is amazing. It's graphics still look beautiful today, the story is simply amazing (if you can cover it all), and there's just something about it that puts you in a good mood. In the end, MGS gets a 9/10. And Zelda gets a 10/10
