I recently installed the ati radeon 6950 2gb GPU into my system and it is saying it is only using 752mb of memory and i can figure out why? on the ati program it says it has 2gb.Any ideas on why?

I have a intel core 2 quad 2.66ghz , 650w PSU, and Asus motherboard.
