[QUOTE="Neme2010"]Yeh 3850. But unfortunately I dont think there is any AGP only board that will be able to push this card to its limits because it will be either an Athlon64 or Pentium 4/D and these CPUs will be bottlenecks for this card.siskokidd
How do I know if the CPU will bottleneck the video card?
I don't think you can tell really beforehand, unless someone else has tested it. But essentially what this means is, if you had a faster cpu your video card would put out more fps. So the only way to really tell to is see from other benchmarks with comparable systems. Otherwise you can't tell. Another thing you can do, but doesn't get you too far, is to overclock your cpu and see if you get faster framerates. But like I said, this doesn't get you too far. I'm not a professional, and I also wonder if you can really max out a card. I mean at some point you should reach a ceiling of what your putting in versus what your getting out. But I don't know if it really caps. I've never seen it myself.
