Phoenix Wright

I am writing this bog as a request of pedmond2010. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney for the DS is a game that I am currently playing and is one of the most enthralling and addictive games I have played so far. For those of you unaware of what the Phoenix Wright series is about I'll explain. Phoenix Wright is a detective/puzzler/lawyer/court thingy kind of game where you defend the accused and prove them not guilty (which they always are). The game takes place in both a court and outside as you find out the evidence required for a case and then argue with it in court. Although this is a text based game, the reading of it never seems laborious and instead adds to the game with the unexpected plot twits and interesting characters. While we are on the subject of characters I might as well tell you about them: Phoenix - He is the spiky haired guy you play in the game and is one of the best (if not the best) defence lawyers around (no thanks to you of course). Maya - She is Phoenix's side kick for the majority of the game and is also quite young and is a shaman (or something of the sort) but acts really childishly at times. She is Mia's sister. Mia - She is Phoenix's mentor at the beginning of the game but gets killed in the second chapter (this really isnt a spoiler as the first chapter is just basically a training level). She is a very fiery character but you can tell she was drawn by the japanese as she has MASSIVE bazongas. I could tell you about all of the characters as each and every one of them has their own personality but that would take forever! To wrap up, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney is an extremely clever, well written addictive game that does about nothing wrong, but because of the type of game it is, it has NO re-playability factor which does bring its mark down dramatically. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney - 9/10

Today I started upon the amazing voyage of discovery and amazement as I started up my Gamespot account. Never before have I seen so many wise, wondrous and noble people in my life. I feel as though I have just started upon the great journey of my life... Okay, from now on I'll stop the idealistic **** and just concentrate on the games themselves (and other things as well). I am not a PS3 fan, lets just get that out in the open, and really only care about my Xbox 360 and Wii (stop giggling in the back), but am a bit of a Nintendo fanboy. It's simple, I love Nintendo! I love the Wii, the DS, the Gamecube (but I have a sneaking suspicion that I was, and am, the only one), the N64 and every other nintendo console to be released (excluding the Virtual Boy!). Need to know something about a DS or Wii game? Ask me, I can tell you anything you want to know. Oops.. I've kinda went of track for a wee bit there. But to finish off I would just like to say You'll be hearing a lot of me during my time on Gamespot - whether you like it or not! Desmond
