As some of you maybe aware of, my GOTY Award for 2007 went to The Darkness, a rather unconventional choice. It is now I snatch the award from The Darkness and give it to another game of 2007. The reason for doing this is that The Darkness, while a brilliant story, did indeed lack certain things, for example the gameplay was clunky and sometimes overly difficult. While those are not necessarily bad things, they do bring down the game in comparison to myy new GOTY.

So WTF is the GOTY Award going to you ask? Well, here are the finalists:

• Eternal Sonata for the Xbox 360
• Mass Effect for the Xbox 360
• Clive Barker's Jericho for the Xbox 360
• Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii
• Medal of Honour Heroes 2 for the Wii
• Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition for the Wii

So, from the list above of obvious choices (and MOH Heroes 2 and Jericho), what has won the GOTY Award that they have nicked from The Darkness? *sigh* it's
