As some of you might know, yesterday a link was posted from an Australian game news site about some of the new features that will be in Saints Row 2, according to them.
Today G4TV made this official by announcing it on AOTS in their The Feed segment.

So it sounds like you're going to have the option to play the entire Single Player storyline with someone else over XBL or playstation online. Also you'll be able to play the "open-world competitive multiplayer mode", and the name says it all.
You will also get the option to choose your gender (male, female or maybe a little of both?), voice, crib and even gang.
This game will for sure not come out before GTAIV, but it is scheduled for 2008, which makes it a must buy for me.
Just knowing that if I get stuck in a mission to the point where I can't beat it no matter what, I can just get a friend to help me out over XBL.

Got My Computer Back
by DJ-PRIME90 on Comments
So the cops delivered my computer on Thursday, I was in school and had to rush home to sign for it.
Unfortunately they delivered it in peices and some parts were missing, they were back at the station.
They killed my main hard drive, it was 40GB so it doesn't matter too much to me. I am now using my 200GB.
I'll have internet tomorrow.
In a bit I'm going over to BestBuy to buy myself a new monitor (getting rid of my old CRT) and getting Crackdown (finally, after seeing Jeff's review it looks pretty dam good).

Got My Computer Back......Almost

Well yesterday I met with the detective again to give him my proof that I completed my hours.
He gave me the phone number of the Technology Crime Unit and I was suppose to call them and they would give me an appointment so that I can go and pick up my computer.
When I called them this morning, a guy answers and he's got a tv or something blairing in the background. After giving him my even number, he checked their database to see if they were allowed to give it back. When he came back, he told me that they were not allowed to give back my computer and that the detective would have to go and pick it up himself and then give it to me.
So I called the detective and I got his answering machine.
I just called my house, but he hasn't called yet.

One More Step

Well today I contacted the court about my computer again.
The guy has all the papers he needs to write my letter to give to the cop.
But just to make sure the cop can't say he can give my computer back, I asked if I could get a copy of the report. Normally they don't do that, so he's going to have to get permission.
So he told me to call him back around 4PM tomorrow and he should have my letter written up and he'll be able to tell me if I can get a copy of the report or not.
Then I just have to make another trip to the cop station to deliver the papers to the detective.

For the second time I couldn't play a new game on my 360.
I'm not sure if its because my 360 is still running the older version, or what. But last time it was PGR4, I put it in and all I get is an update is needed to play this game, if you don't get the update, you can't play this game.
So last night I rented NFS: Pro Street and had the same problem.
Last time I played PGR4 by bringing my 360 to my neighbours house and downloading it there. But I don't want to do that every time.
This is pretty stupid...looks like MS never thought anyone who would own a 360 wouldn't have internet.
One more reason I can hardly wait to get my computer back.

Heres a link to the video: http://montreal.ctv.ca/cfcf/video_popup?news_id=16664 (sorry, doesn't seem to work anymore).
I only found out about this at school when someone heard it on the radio on their way in. So I started searching like crazy on the computer at school to find out when it was coming in. I finally found it on an airplane enthusiests website, it lands today at 12:35 (estimated) and it'll be leaving to go back to france on wednesday.
So I looked up how to get down there, and as the bus was going down the freeway, there are overpasses for pedestrians, and the first overpass has about 10 people on it, and the second was impossible to get across (thats how many people were on it). I was on that bridge, well at the top of the stairs, and there was a crazy amount of cameras and several helicopters in the air watching.
As it landed, an Air Canada plane just flew right by it on its way in, thats how slow it landed.
Unfortunately after it landed, they brought it to the other side of the air port giving us no opportunity to see it afterwards, unless you had a car with you and you knew how to get to the other side quickly.
I walked to the back road which is home to all the airport fuel companies.
I don't think they've ever had so much traffic on that one street (its the closest place to the runway, but I didn't have enough time to try find that place when I got there), they had to bring in 2 cop cars to direct traffic, but the trucks had priority.

Didn't Get Anywhere Today
by DJ-PRIME90 on Comments
Well today I had the meeting with the detective.
To start it off, I was trying to get to the cop station where they brought me after I was arrested. Unfortunately, that wasn't the detective's station. I realized that after checking the address on his card. So I ended up walking about 20 blocks before I got to the right cop station.
When I got there, there was a lady trying to settle all her problems that she had with her stolen vehicle. So the desk cop asked me if it was an emergency and I said no, so I ended up waiting 10 more min while they both talked, he tried to fix his light, and stare at her paper work.
When it was my turn, I told him that I had a meeting with the detective. The detective wasn't there. So he called him up. Then he passed the phone to me. Told me the cop would make a copy of my paper and send it to him. Then he got back on the phone with the desk cop and I guess he told him a lot about the case because the cop looked up at me 3 times.
So now I just have to wait. The detective is gonna get my paper and then he has to comfirm it with the court, then he'll get back to me next week.
So basically I didn't get anywhere today.

Computer Coming Back :D
by DJ-PRIME90 on Comments
Well I am finished my hours.
I called my lawyer, he told me to call the detective who arrested me, so I did and now I have to meet with him next Thursday with my copy of the Extrajudical Sanction form, so he can make a copy and comfirm with the court that he's allowed to give my computer back, as long as there are no restrictions. But I hope there are none because I probably should have been told about them earlier.
So hopefully I'll find out if I'm getting my computer back next Thursday.
If they do agree to give it back, I'll have to go to what that detective calls "the Technology Center". I'm not sure if he didn't know how to say it in english or he just didn't want me finding the place and trying to get it back on my own:lol:
Anyways, if they do find restrictions then me and my lawyer go to court to fight for it.
Also seen a pretty crazy fight at school like 2 days ago.
1 black women went into the clas§ room, 3 came out, started yelling "You used my name!" again and again, then they ended up lifting up one of the girls and throwing her down the stairs. Then security came running up the stairs to stop it.
So much better than the fights at my old school, where it would be outside off school property and the only people to try to break it up would be the cops, and they'd only come flying down the street 10 min after the fight ended.

Well I have 30 min of community service left:lol:
I had planned on having 2 hours left, but I didn't leave for lunch or count in the fact that we're open an extra 30 min today.
I am also getting feeling back down there, and for some reason it feels like I'm getting a random kick in the balls every once in a while...the pain is tollerable but its annoying...
I also seen Transformers, finally and its ******-A!
I downloaded it, but it was taking too long to add to my Zune so I gave up on it, I'll try again at school.
So 30 min of community service left means tomorrow I can contact my lawyer to find out how I can get my computer back, if I can get it back. I really hope I can get it back because you have no idea how much life has sucked for the past 4 months...

Canada Killing The Internet For Canadians
by DJ-PRIME90 on Comments
Well I'm sure most of you know already that Canada has banned Demonoid from Canadian residents. Demonoid didn't have much choice but to comply.
Now they plan on taxing music bought off iTunes...
They plan on charging a little over3.1 centstax on each song or 1.5 cents for each song on an album.
A little bit of a strange system though because the tax money will actually be collected by Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (or SOCAN) and then given directly to the artists.
I don't use iTunes or any sort of music store to buy my music, so this doesn't effect me, but just the thought that internet taxes are starting to come in just means theres more to come.
