Wii > PS3

It appears the Wii is more of a success than the PS3 from what I have been seeing since they have both been released.
Wii - The launch event in NYC seemed alot bigger than the PS3 launch event, I say this because of the amount of people that GS described were there. And since the Wii has officialy launched this morning I have been seeing nothing but Wii gameplay on gaming tv shows, I havn't seen the PS3 being played at all on tv. I assume part of the major hype for the Wii is the controller, even though, personally I don't like it. And Reggie actually selling the 1st console sounded pretty cool for one of the big people in Nintendo to be doing.

PS3 - The launch party seemed alittle small compared to the Wii launch party. Though the entrance that Sony did when they brought in the consoles and whoever they had from SCEA ( ) was pretty cool, especially if you were there in person. Sadly the only thing I'm seeing about the PS3 on tv is "numbers" of how many consoles have been released so far and how disapointing that number is since 400,000 in the U.S. isn't nearly enough, apparently. But the price tag is probably a negative thing when it comes to trying to trying to get all types of people to buy the console, since there are alot of parents who might want to get their kids a console for christmas but because of the price tag on a PS3 it may not be possible to get a PS3.
So that is my opinion.
If you don't want to go with a Nintendo, then get yourself a 360 because a PS3 is pretty much just a 360 with the Sony name and a fancy controller…
